They did nothing but give false hope.do not waste your time with sunset.sunset found property belonging to my dad's son.same name.I tried to explain that my dad's name on birth certificate was something else but they don't aknowledge.I hope it works out for others.It was not helpful to my needs.thank you for your time

Caring, competent and helpful. The business concept is smart. This is my third executor rodeo, and they took a lot of legwork out of finding things -- especially good if the decedent was not a meticulous record-keeper. They can't fix certain banks that are dysfunctional, even when presented with court orders. But their experience dealing with these issues can guide you through (in one case, a Sunset rep was on the line in conference call between me and a particular financial institution). All-in-all, I'd recommend, especially if your loved one had a lot of accounts or was not meticulous in keeping files, even of the few accounts they had. This makes a tough time a little easier -- and that is a blessing.

Easy to set up and get information uploaded. A little tricky to navigate for the first few times using the website.

I did not find Sunset to be particularly helpful. Before asking me to click the "Close Account" button, the service did not provide enough information for me to make an informed decision about what would happen next.

Some of the assets listed appeared to be outdated or no longer valid, while other assets I know exist were not included in the search results. This made me question the accuracy and completeness of the information being presented.

Overall, I found the process more confusing than straightforward. Greater transparency about how assets are identified, why some may be missing, and exactly what happens after selecting "Close Account" would have given me much more confidence in using the service. As it stands, I was not comfortable proceeding.

The company is genuine in their support, and doesn't just make the claim to support families in these type of situations, but actually stands behind it. A rep named Sarah was very helpful in helping locate some accounts and information that I had been looking for. Although, I havent gotten to the end of the road just yet, she helped me gain ground and establishing planning efforts in moving in the right direction.

I didn't have access to many of my father's account or asset details when he died, and I lived 4 states away. Sunset (especially Sarah) went above and beyond. Within 2 days, they gave me a full picture of his accounts and assets, AND they were able to contact most of them (with my authorization) to figure out exactly what I needed to do. The estate also owned 3 properties, and two had tenants. Sunset connected me with a real estate partner who coordinated tenant move-outs, property repairs, and vetted a local real estate agent to sell the properties when they were ready. There were all kinds of new discoveries that kept popping up (as there always are...), and Sunset took so many of them off of my plate. Not to mention just being able to support and guidance from REAL people who were genuinely knowledgable and kind, made this process so much better. Can't recommend enough!

We had an OUTSTANDING experience with Sunset. We had a loved one pass away who was a bit of a recluse. His next of kin is elderly and unable to manage the necessities of closing out an estate. Sarah was truly a miracle worker. She found the accounts, contacted the institutions, set up the Docusign meetings, and led us through the process of closing everything out. She was kind, communicative, thorough and comforting. I would recommend Sarah and Sunset to everyone who needs help navigating a difficult process at a very difficult time.

This App is Amazing it is So Accurate with the Correct information and ducuments and it finds just about everything you are searching for in accounts of your dead love ones.. It found So many from years ago after my Father's untimely death

They made the process very easy by guiding you all of the way through it, even calling to check up on everything and offering more help with very specific tasks.
