FRAUDSTER ? !
I am awarding this company one star only because there isn't an option for awarding negative stars.
Like others reviewing this company I paid a 50% deposit to have work carried out: in my case built-in wardrobes installed. This was on 7th March 2026. The day before the installation date , 15 April 2026 I contacted Mr Hendry to ask at what time he'd arrive the following day. He informed me he wouldn't be able to due to a family crisis. I waited a few days then checked his website for matching bedside cabinets for the wardrobes. The website was down and the landline at his workshop was discontinued.
I have since made a claim against Mr Hendry via the Simple Procedure. The Sheriff at Dumbarton Sheriff Court found in my favour and against Mr Hendry and others in my claim for my deposit and court expenses. Mr Hendry's bank from my goggling his sort code is a digital bank called Revolut: a bank which itself has attracted attention from both the FCA and the BBC. Incidentally his sort code is 23 01 20 and account number 63707628. At least it was when I paid my deposit! His registered company address can be found on the Companies House website.
I would advise other victims of this company to take action and not limit themselves to negative reviews.
I will be updating this review shortly!
Update 5th August 2026. For anyone following this review, check out the news article in the Clydebank Post and Dumbarton Reporter of the 5th August where James Hendry is exposed as the fraud he is but has the audacity to try to portray himself as some kind of victim!
