Herne Bay Domestics is an independent, family-run business which was established on the Herne Bay high street in 1984. Our reputation is built upon a combination of high-level customer service and care, and the ability to provide a large stock of domestic appliances at extremely competitive prices, as a result of close relationships with major manufacturers and being part of Euronics. We therefore believe that we have found the right balance between being able to care for the needs of every individual customer, whilst still often being able to offer the same products and prices as the biggest retailers in this field. Our team of delivery drivers and engineers are able to install every product we sell, as well as being able to demonstrate to customers how their new appliance works, and answering any queries on this matter. Meanwhile, our sales team are immediately on hand to fix any subsequent issues, as opposed to having to go through call centres and long queues. Washing machine stopped working and engineer attended within 24 hours.
Machine was dead (damage was shown and explained to me)
New one ordered and paid for there and then, delivered and plumbed in the following day.
Engineer and delivery staff very polite and respected my property.
I will definitely use Herne Bay Domestics in the future.

Excellent customer service received.
I needed to replace my built in Hotpoint double oven. The one I wanted was out of stock, so we ordered it. There was a delay and it looked like I would be waiting for many weeks, so an alternative oven was also, very kindly, ordered so that I was not left without one. Low and behold, my original choice did arrive...together with the alternative choice, so all was well. It was installed the next day, without any problems. Every member of Herne Bay Domestics has been so friendly and helpful, a big shout out and thank you to Nick and team. Needless to say I am very pleased, and would highly recommend Herne Bay Domestics and the service they give. Thank you.

The team called 15 minutes prior to delivery just to confirm it was still OK. Installation of the new washing machine and removal of the old one was done very efficiently and quickly by two v helpful and friendly guys. Really good service

We were in need of a new freezer
We were in need of a new freezer, after looking at some in a major retailer just to get an idea of size & cost etc and to be advised of a delivery charge, we returned to Herne Bay Domestics once more.
Why did we even bother looking elsewhere?
Looked online & ordered the freezer. Within 20 mins of ordering on a Saturday, we received a call from them advising they would be delivering our freezer on Tuesday. Fabulous customer service as always.
Can't praise them enough.

Our washing machine stopped working on…
Our washing machine stopped working on a Saturday, used a search engine to find companies which sell washing machines in my area. Herne bay Domestic came up. The website was user friendly and well laid out, with plenty of information about the machine . purchased a washing machine online, on Sunday, with the options for delivery slots, choses the Tuesday. also had the option for old washing machine to be taken away. on the 18th received a text message to confirm time slot for the following day delivery. The machine was delivered within the time slot. The two delivery men, were friendly and helpful. they put the machine were we asked for it to go. The also took away the old washing machine, which was paid for when ordering. I would certainly recommend Herne Bay Domestic and will be using them again if an electrical items are required .

The one phone call to make when needing a new appliance in East Kent
Needing a replacement washing machine as my AEG integrated.model had finally died after 25 years hard use, I simply called Herne Bay.domestics and asked Nick to recommend a suitable replacement. He recommended Bosch, quoted a fair price, and my new.machine has been carefully delivered, expertly installed, and the old machine taken away, all just a couple of days after placing my.order.
You just can't get better service, or easier shopping than this.

Absolutely superb supplier
Absolutely superb. Bought a tumble dryer: arranged next day delivery at time slot that worked for me. Dryer delivered correctly on time with care.
Herne Bay Domestics (HBD) team then sorted out an issue I had with Siemens over an advertised 5 yr. warranty: despite Siemens saying it was only 2 years and there was nothing they could do, HBD sorted it out directly with them and I received a 5yr warranty through from Siemens straight away.
Fantastic service from HBD, from order through to deliver, and customer care!

New washing machine
Jason and Paul delivered our new washing machine. They are both very polite and friendly and professional. They made sure our wooden floor was well protected during installation and removal of the old machine and did a check to make everything was working properly.
