Highland Whisky Auctions Avis

A genuine old school service that's responsive and professional. My parcel made it in 48hrs and in mint! Many thanks!!!

Won a bottle for £85, by the time you add delivery, commission and their extortionate insurance fee (£16) the bottle is pretty much 50% extra. Will certainly avoid using in future - there are better value alternatives out there.

Edit - it’s really the insurance element which is pushing the extras to nearly 50% of the bottle. I don’t understand why its so high when there are other mainstream auctions are at around 3-3.5%….so perhaps Highland Whisky Auctions are being selective with their response choosing to focus their attention on the other charges but insurance, unfortunately, is needed in this day and age and adds to the total cost. As i said there are better value options out there.

Delivery was very quick, highly recommended.

Great site
easy to navigate through and decent delivery

Friendly and efficient service. Any questions were answered promptly and being able to collect and drop off locally makes a big difference. Would definitely recommend to others

Happy I received what I expected.
Shipping was prompt and packaging was appreciated.
As with many auctions sites, the add on costs quickly reduce the sense of satisfaction with the hammer price. Fine if your looking for something specific, but unlikely to get many bargains unless you are buying several bottles or can collect.

Exceptional. Delivery was quick and bottles arrived as expected. Definitely one I would recommend.

Really nice team who couldn’t have been more helpful.

Good communication quick delivery

Paid the £4.80 to discover the items were not worth bidding on once you add the extortionate delivery charges.

You quickly fixed my payment choice from Bank transfer to credit card. Also the shipment went very smoothly and was delivered as scheduled.

Have used Highland Whisky Auction many of times and can’t fault the service

Simple to use
No hidden cost
The whole process was good.

I have only recently discovered Highland Whisky Auctions. I have a small whisky collection at the moment and have been growing this overtime. I got chatting to Mike about this and he passed me on to Olly for some advice on what I needed to have an attractive sellable collection. The knowledge and help has been second to none and I cannot speak highly enough of both Mike & Olly & would highly recommend any whisky drinker/collector to get in touch with these guys.

Dealt with Mike at HWA, as I am new to whiskey, he answered my questions and helped with concerns. Very pleased with the service, would recommend. Thanks!!

I’ve know Mike for over 8 yrs and what a privilege to deal with fair prices for cars true to his word and he’s sourced me certain whiskeys at fair prices wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his company 5*

I’ve bought from HWA on a couple of occasions, I received my whisky promptly, with the product being exactly as described. Very happy customer

I’ve been buying and selling my cars with Mike at Town and County for several years, and he’s always been a genuine guy. His prices are fair, and he’s always willing to help you find exactly what you need. Recently, I started buying whisky from him as well, been doing that for about a year now. As someone who’s been drinking and collecting whisky for years, it has got tougher to find certain bottles, but Mike has come to the rescue more than once, sourcing some really hard-to-find bottles I’ve been searching for.

Excellent first class service as always! Great company, highly recommended 👌. Thanks Mike and Team @ HWA!

Very well organised auction and very easy to follow.
