Terrible company from boot quality to…
Terrible company from boot quality to service.
1st they are selling boots at a price way more than companies who have been in the industry for decades longer, I tried them back in 2021 or 2022.
They split on the seam of the leather where my Harkila boots I purchased in 2013 lasted until 2019
Emailed them they made me wait weeks until they replied then gave the naturally pasted reply of 2 year warrranty assuming they are looked after etc here’s a discount code for 15% supposed to be on top of any other discounts but it is t the boots were discounted 15% or that’s what was advertised for Black Friday but they recently jumped the so called value of there boots to £450!!! They are normally £350 but that’s how they market a discount mark it up then offer a website discount making them look like a sale.
Anyhow multiple emails as the code isn’t working on top of the current discounts

Also to note they changed the boot / upgraded it so that tells you they had issues with it too…
Please don’t lie I can upload the emails
The only discount offered is what was on the website already.
I wasted money on boots and time on your emails tell people how long it took you to respond to the first email almost a month
Explain why your boots have a seam near the front of the boot other manufacturers do not this is a weak area.
Don’t sit here and lie your pathetic

Horrendous CRM
My order was months late, very little communication from you. On opening and within a day my dog ate one of the tighters and I have emailed you asking how I can get it fixed and you still haven’t come back to me. As someone who works in HNW hospitality and event management I think you CRM is diabolical.

Keep away from Hillmans Quality in my opinion is well below where it should be
Bought a pair of there top of the range hunting boots nice boot but the rubber started peeling away contacted Hillman who really there response was not the best told them of the problem and the fact i had only owned the boots 5 weeks after sending photos etc proving that it was a fault on the boot then had to return them which I did took several weeks waiting on them being returned finally got them back and the repair was terrible I could of done better myself so I wore the boots last week first time since them been fixed and yet again a piece of the rubber has separated from the boot unbelievable a pair of boots at this price this should never happen will never shop at hillman again
