I am a Temporary Accommodation support worker in Monmouthshire. I support the homeless to get housed. Homemakers went above and beyond for a client of mine at short notice. Donating a double bed, mattress, dining table and chairs and other furniture to make my clients new home as comfortable as possible. Emily my first point of contact with the charity was excellent, providing a professional customer support from start to end. Rob and his delivery crew were professional and loved climbing 3 flights of stairs....The furniture was of a high standard, I will be back and recommend Homemakers Community Recycling. 5 STARS all day long.

Great kindness and tact shown to this new entrant to their Hardship scheme. Furniture chosen thoughtfully and delivered promptly by very helpful Rhys and Mathew - with special thanks to Lindy. Home Makers is a wonderful asset to Abergavenny and one we urge people to give to, as we shall in the future, when we can.

Both of their sites are a treasure trove of bric-à-brac, furniture, garden items, clothes and lots more. Friendly and helpful staff make every visit a pleasure. They will even try to find an item if you are searching for something specific. A great experience from start to finish and regular turnover means there is usually fresh stock. Lindsay was amazing today. Much appreciated.

From start to finish fantastic! Easy communication. Helpful, understanding and so quick . They cleared my recently deceased father's home so efficiently and with friendliness and good humour. The price for the clearance was very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Rob and his two helpers were wonderful, they worked quickly and efficiently, friendly and very helpful, i highly recommend the service, just brilliant, and a big relief.

Rob & Stuart are so helpful and kind. Also they completely help me to get my wardrobe upstairs.The best work from them.

Helped us clear my mother in laws house. The three guys that came could not have been more helpful, kind and considerate. Nothing was too much trouble. The service we received was far beyond what we expected. Would definitely use them again.

Homemakers are fantastic! I work in a school and am often requiring bits and pieces. From furniture, to tools, to bric and brac, to games and books. Homemakers has it all and nothing is too much trouble for those who work there. Most recently, they have provided my school with a job lot of tools to help maintain the environment which we will find very helpful indeed! Thank you so much Homemakers!

Excellent service and lovely items at good prices. The staff are super friendly and helpful. On my last visit Reis was outstanding and helped me find everything I needed. This place has been invaluable to buy home items when on a tight budget.

So helpful. Took x2 loads down for recycling & everyone more than helpful. Did not refuse a single item. A pleasure to deal with.

Last year we downsized and we had homemakers collect a van full of good quality furniture, when they arrived the kind men told me they would take the furniture that was no good because they could recycle it . I had a chat to the one man about fly tipping and he invited me down to the yard to see the responsible way in which they handled the unwanted furniture . The following week i visited the yard and saw the furniture showroom and how hard the volunteers work to keep wales tidy . I am very happy my furniture went to this charity

Had two really helpful employees clear my mother's house. They were very prompt, polite and professional. They went above and beyond to ensure the job was done in a short space of time. Would thoroughly recommend them. I think they are excellent value for money

Homemakers made the difficult process of clearing a house of the remaining furniture etc easier. The rates are extremely reasonable. The guys turned up on time & worked so hard that day. Highly recommended.
