Gold piping frays and looks a mess
The Tucano green bedding is nice, but is ruined by the gold piping around the edge, that frays and sheds fibres constantly. The fraying started gradually, but has got worse over the time I have had the bedding. I would attach photos here, but there doesn't seem to be an option. The bedding has been alternated with another bedding set, so used for around 16 weeks. It has been washed at 30 degrees C on a cotton cycle. It is very overpriced for what it is. I have wasted my time time providing all the information Holsper asked for. They now say that as it is 8 months since I ordered the bedding they won't refund me. Apparently this overpriced bedding is only meant to last a few months.

Thanks for the review. We noticed your order was placed over six months ago, and the gold piping doesn’t fray under normal use — thousands of customers have the same design without any issues. If it suddenly started “shedding fibres constantly” after half a year, something unusual must have happened to it on your end.
If you’d like us to take a look, you can send photos to our support team, but based on our quality checks and long-term customer feedback, this isn’t a product fault.

I bought some bedding from them a few…
I bought some bedding from them a few months ago and the quality is amazing. It feels lovely and washes really well. I bought a second set a few weeks ago and once it arrived, I unfortunately found that the colour on the pictures was a little different to how it looked in real life which meant it didn't quite match my room. I arranged to send the product back, free of charge and got a no fuss refund. Will definitely be buying more bedding from them in the future, really excellent products and customer service.

Colours don't match pictures online
Ordered Tucano bedding set online. Pictures show it as having lush green foliage with black toucans. What I've received has overwhelmingly brown foliage with blue toucans. Customer Service tried to gaslight me by saying "the lighting in your home might be the reason it looks different". No Holsper, you've sent me a crap product that doesn't match the pictures online. There's a substantial difference in colour that cannot just be explained by "different lightbulbs". I sent pictures. The sensible thing to do would be to say "yes that does look like a colour printing issue, we'll speak to our supplier."
Difficult to return stuff (the link to generate a returns label doesn't work).

We’re really sorry for the inconvenience you’ve experienced — we never want anyone to feel disappointed with a Holsper order.
We only tried to explain that artificial lighting, especially warm yellow bulbs, can sometimes shift how colours appear in a room. Greens can look more brownish and certain tones can look different depending on the light. That explanation wasn’t meant to dismiss your concern at all.
If there’s an actual issue with the print or colouring, we’re more than happy to replace it. And just to clarify — we did not ignore or reject your request. Your return is fully accepted, and we’ve arranged a free return so you can send the set back without any cost.
Once it arrives at our warehouse, we’ll inspect it properly and make sure the right solution is provided.
Thank you for your patience, and again, we’re very sorry for the trouble caused.

Lovely quality bedding
Lovely quality bedding. Packaged beautifully and delivered quickly. It is a bit on the pricier side, though that is because of the cotton thread count and quality. The only comment is that the zip is white.. being a dark charcoal fabric, it I would except to see a dyed to match zip! Or black. Having been in the clothing trade I know this is possible, even in small batches.

You’re absolutely right that the price reflects the higher cotton quality and thread count, so it means a lot that you noticed and mentioned it. And thank you as well for your comment about the zip colour. We really appreciate feedback from someone with experience in the clothing trade – those small details do matter.
At the moment, this design comes with a white zip as standard, but your point about a dyed-to-match or black zip on the charcoal fabric is completely valid. I’ve passed this on to our product team so we can look into updating future batches and improving the overall finish.
