Homebay did everything they said they…

Homebay did everything they said they would. They provided all the help I needed to sell my home, and saved me almost $20k over a traditional realtor... not only that, but my realtor managed to get the highest offer to come up to my full asking price!

List with a REAL agent!

We listed with Home Bay because a referal. This was a joke early on. There was little to no communication from the agent. The agent never even knew when other realtors were showing our home. We ended up lowering our asking price just to find out that Home Bay had been in the process of pulling out of our state altogether. Essentially, our home was on the market for an extended time due to inaction by the agent and then they turned their backs with ZERO forewarning! Do not list with Home Bay if you want to sell.

Top Rate Disruptor!

Hats off to the team in getting our luxury home sold! The process went as advertised, and yielded the result we were looking for! Thanks to Steve Spiro (HB Broker/Advisor/Closing Specialist) in coaching us during any time of day or any holidays interruption. Wasn't always happy with layer behind Steve, but the transaction was able to close within the 30 days!

I am on my third agent in Illinois

I am on my third agent in Illinois. So far communication is lacking and follow up is poor. I have been waiting two days for them to get back to me for to sign my contract for the sale of my property. I won’t be using them again.

The entire process of selling our house with Home Bay was wonderful. The realtor assigned to our sale was easy to work with, knowledge, and responded quickly to any questions that we had. I would use Home Bay again!

Uninterested, dissengaged, sloppy

Uninterested, disengaged and sloppy.

I wanted to wait to write a review to give them a chance, but my thoughts haven't changed. The model doesn't work yet... they promisse the moon and then you are pretty much left to do everything on your own, there's no direct contact, only a generic number nobody answers, your realtor calls you only when convenient, s/he is not in the area, usually busy with 1000 other listings...

Selling my home in Hayward

1. The selling of a home is already a very stressful experience, Home Bay needs to communicate more effectively with the seller on key moments throughout out the selling. I do Understand the model of Home Bay is a low cost, seller does many of the tasks and not a full scale agent, but I am talking about basic facts communication, this is missing there
2. I was not consulted on selecting the escrow title company at all, according with the agent this was the "default". The title closing escrow company CalTech is truly deficient on handling communication with seller. To this date, 6 days after the closing, I have not received YET the settlement page that discloses all of the funds and fees charged. Further when officers there do not have the information they do not answer their phones or return messages. Cal Tech receives from me 1 star if only because the effort
3. I do appreciate and like the money I saved on selecting HomeBay

Home Bay was a good fit for us

Home Bay was a good fit for us, we are both retired and enjoyed showing the house and doing the open house ourselves. We sold the house quickly and Home Bay performed all their services in a professional manner.

Homebay's program met my needs

Homebay's program met my needs. I dealt directly with the buyers' agents, scheduling their visits, and put a lockbox on my door, so I did not have to meet any lookers, just gave them the access code and they let themselves into my house. The house sold within 60 days. I paid the full 3% commission to the buyer's agent, to encourage their interest, but it just made sense for me to save the seller agent fee, by using Homebay. Definitely, would use Homebay again.

Best online homesale

Home Bay made the process of selling my home super easy and hassle and headache free. They have a team of people that is assigned to take care of your needs and concerns anytime of the day or night. Their rates are much better than the competition and you walk away feeling satisfied that you got the best deal.The only thing my husband and I had to do, besides filling out a few online paperwork, was to be ready to move at closing.

Home Bay Review

I enjoyed the Home Bay process. Even though most of the process is automated, my assigned agent, Steve Spiro, was totally accessible to answer any questions. He was able to pull comparables and advise me of the market trend, purchase price, home showings, and any other questions that came about while my property was on the market. Of course, I really appreciated the commission rate that Home Bay offers. Steve Spiro did a great job!
