Don't believe the five star reviews this company is run by a con man by the name of Oliver Scott, deposits will not be returned, rents will not be paid to landlords when it gets too tough for him he will liquidate the company and immediately start up under a different name, avoid at all costs go to reputable agents

I have to say that if anyone is looking for a property, in or around Nottingham, HS is definitely a company I recommend. When it comes down to attention to detail, Home Share is a company that goes above & beyond, to find you what you need. Everything is handled professionally, from the first point of contact, the staff are very easy to connect with & you certainly get a 5 star service. The place l am staying is lovely & the professional people in the house are respectful, helpful & quiet. Overall am very pleased with The above company & appreciate the efforts made to give me a trusted roof over my head!

I have been very impressed with this company for a number of reasons .I was contacted by them after having good experiences with Oliver in the past .They have provided an number of tenants for me recently all of whom have been an excellent fit. Also they have found tenants much more quickly than I could have done myself . All the necessary checks and vetting is taken care of by Homeshare in advance of any viewings which is very reassuring . The communication has been great and I have been paid rent very promptly.

I had a great experience with the Homeshare team! I urgently needed a room, and they were incredibly helpful in finding one for me quickly. The whole process was super easy, straightforward, and completely online, which made everything even more convenient. The team was responsive, supportive, and made the entire experience stress-free. Highly recommended!

Awful. Do way more than 10 hours per week re housework and help, always an issue if you want to have a night out as 'care' needs to be brought in to cover, and it's a big issue if you want your one night off every week. Don't go near it.

Possibly one of the most unprofessional property management firms I’ve come across. Requested personal information which I gave. Sent me a text confirming viewing without a time, date, or location. Went radio silent and didn’t even have the common courtesy of replying to me to update me on the status of the process. I had to chase down a reply using their own unprofessionalism as a means to entice a reply. The person I dealt with was named Abigail, and going off of the interactions alone I believe that this is just another money grab property management firm that put profit over tenants. I can't tell if this is the review site for Homeshare UK as such. But the reviews are alarming and I'm guessing it's a poor deal. Early efforts to contact them are endlessly slow, and of course, I won't set up something with an organisation that cannot get its act together.

If this company had to choose between an employee and women’s safety, you can guarantee that they’d choose their own staff.

I do not appreciate being harassed for over a year and being asked for sex by one of your staff members that was also a tenant. I don’t appreciate the fuse box being tampered with as a reason to get into my room. And I also don’t like being told to “jump out of the window” when I tell someone I’m not interested.

This company did nothing to sort this. They were hesitant when I said I wanted him out of the house and the only reason he moved out was because he did so voluntarily. He then was being sent back to the house to fix maintenance issues AFTER this incident took place and when I asked about this I was more or less told this wasn’t their problem.

I have screenshots and recordings of this man from the night he tampered with the fuse box as he was trying to convince me that he needed to get into my room to ‘check my plug sockets’. He used this an excuse to ask me why I don’t speak to him and why I never gave him a chance and said that he would watch me leaving the house every morning. He asked me if I would let him hug me and I said no. He became hostile and stormed off downstairs. I had to call a relative to pick me up. Whilst I was packing a bag to take with me, my bedroom light, which was the only thing working in my room at this point, had gone off, come back on, flickered and then went off again.

After this took place, it affected my mental health so badly that I couldn’t sleep and I was having nightmares about seeing him again.

Do yourself a favour and look for ANYWHERE else to live. Even if you don’t think this could happen to you, the way they handled this just shows what a tenant’s safety means to them.

Absolutely awful. Do not use their services. They simply do not care about anyone. They just care about money. Houses are old filthy and need major renovations. On top of this you'll be asked to pay a lot of money. You don't get to see rooms before you pay for them. Maybe think for a minute about why that may be the case.

The Agent was more helpful to female I let stay in my home for a small fee (I paid) the female was to volunteer a few hours a week to me but, she showed little interest to help me, as I'm disabled and housebound and mostly bedbound but, independent and also I have a carer/cleaner. Female enjoyed my home facilities and help from me! I halted the contract within a week but, had let her stay to find another accommodation. Agency was more helpful to female, who paid them for accommodation, than to me when I, also Female, explained what I was experiencing. I do not recommend although this was the Northampton branch.

Highly unprofessional outfit who give the industry a bad name.

They took a holding deposit on a flat knowing that it wasn’t actually ready to let. Agreed a date to collect keys and took first and last month’s rent, again knowing that the property was not actually available for let. We agreed a date for collections of keys, still knowing that the property was not fit for let. They had us waiting at their offices for over half an hour, presumably whilst they worked out how to break the news to us.

The person we had been dealing clearly couldn’t bring themselves to speak to us so sent someone else out, after squirming around with various excuses blaming everyone other than themselves he finally told us that the property wasn’t ready. When I called out his BS behaviour he came across as though he was the victim in the situation. They hadn’t even gone to the effort to try and present some viable alternatives, not that I would have agreed; if they can’t get this bit right I hate to think what they would have been like as a Landlord.

Their behaviour is in my opinion bordering on criminal, they knowingly took money under the false pretence that they had a property to let which wasn't actually available.
