After being fed up with some of the big…
After being fed up with some of the big hosting providers, I stumbled across Host Koala on a Reddit thread, and seeing the price ($13/yr) I figured it would be low risk to try it out, and have been more than pleasantly surprised.
I've been using HK for about 18 months now, with very little issues, and when there are, the support is very active and engaged in trying to problem solve your ticket. With servers all over the globe, I would highly recommend.

I am an individual Web designer, and I design sites for people from many countries. I have many plans from different countries at 4 USD/Year after discounts.

On top of the base cost of the license, a single account will cost $3.60/Year, which is higher than what you initially paid for ( $3.50/Year ).
No one will be able to host you on your original price, unless they are using a grey market cPanel license if you continue to insist on having a cPanel hosting service.
HostKoala wishes you good luck in finding a host that is willing to host you for a price cheaper than the license for your control panel alone ( Not including the license prices for LiteSpeed, JetBackups, Softaculous, and the cost of the server itself ).

The bad review doesn't know what they're talking about! Amazing for starting at just $5.00/yr. ($3.50 with coupon), $10.00/yr ($7.00/yr.) with coupon for three sites, and $20.00/yr ($14.00/yr) for unlimited web hosting.
Amazing web hosting at this price with no ads, great DNS caching, speeds, and uptime. The cheapest other web host I found was at $6.00 per **MONTH**, (which is $72.00/yr.).
Only bad thing is that there is no 24/7 support, as it is a small company, but the other good things make that five stars!

I came from HostGator to HostKoala and I am impressed with HostKoala quality and speed
I came from HostGator to HostKoala. Probably I am writng this review very early, but I moved several websites to Hostkoala and so far has been great (I had a minor issue and the support resolved it in minutes).
It is truly much much faster and as you may know already, much cheaper. I really hope this quality and price maintains over time because I cannot recommend it enough. Give it a chance!

Zero Complaints For Amazing Service
This was my first time setting up a site and I sure messed up, creating clones, changing domain, nameserver issues... but Host Koala was very, very speedy and friendly and helped me with absolutely everything until my site was ready! Absolutely no complaints, and such an amazing price!

Amazing website host, very quick and support is always super active. Prices are very low and they helped me access my website terminal for my node.js application even though most hosts would not allow this.

Many pros, not many cons
I've hosted my sites for almost 2years with hostkoala and they have been very good so far.
Pros :
Best prices
Many locations
Helpful support
Most of my sites are hosted from different locations, most have over 99.9% uptime, only the offshore server shows 99.8% over a period of 1++ years
Cons :
No phone support, which would be nice if they added it, but I can understand that they don't have it as their prices are really low.

Can't recommend enough - Fast servers and amazing support
transferred over to Host Koala a few months ago and very happy I did. Their support is fantastic and are always available to help with any problems i have. Will continue to use and highly recommend anyone looking for an affordable and reliable hosting service to give them a go.
