Hotstar UK is just waste of money and nothing much worth to see. If you are subscribing for sports content please don't subscribe. Movies are much old and mostly you can watch in YouTube and other free websites. News content also you can get it live on youtube. I think you can't cancel for a refund once you have subscribed for a year. Please be very thoughtful before you subscribe.

Pathetic service. 48 hours trial only. When you say your not happy with the service, they send you a link to their policy page saying no refund. Signup with Amazon and Netflix only.

Had to give one Star as there are no lesser option.
This Chanel is a fraud. Subscribed from UK primarily to watch Cricket. ( rest of the shows are awful anyway) . But they don’t do it ( as promised)

Bought a Chrome cast device to watch it on Tv ( another waste)

Not very happy with hotstar US subscription. I purchased an annual plan. but they are very slow in adding new contents to their platform. Will not renew my subscription.

I have heard about this via Lebara mobile. I thought it's a good opportunity to check if it's any good but it's a kind of scam.
when I search online "can I watch Big boss 4 on Hotstar?" and google showed a lot of results saying I can watch so I have signed up but once I start the subscription, there is nothing I wanted. no explanation of why I can't watch that show.

Watching IPL is very horrible. Every ball it gets stuck. Its better to watch on Television. Next year IPL should be projected on Sony...

We aubscribed for hotstar in US mainely for IPL and Bigg Boss 4 Tamil. Sadly, they do not play Bigg Boss 4 tamil. Would have been better at least if they played recorded version everyday since they do not live streaming the channel.
Not worth as you can watch IPL through other legal sources as well if that was the only reason to get Hotstar.

Earlier we use to watch multiple devices after Ipl added they restricted devices very sad the way they r changing settings.

Very bad application. There have premium or subscription....otherwise you man cannot watch IPL.
THIS is not good with spectators.

2019 subscription allowed me to watch IPL so I renewed but this year but can't watch IPL. I paid just for IPL but what a waste. Now you have to pay even more to upgrade to VIP or Premium which they didn't make clear before. A scam that has left me with no IPL to watch. Shame on Hotstar for the trick they have pulled.

Just bought hotstar subscription to watch IPL and now it is not generating OTP to even login. Worst experience ever!

Utter waste of money. Perfect tricksters as they won't include important shows as part of the package. Their platform is such a pain to use as well. Totally dissatisfied! Their customer care is non-existent.

Worst service adds repeated ads help never responds

Tech is super bad, half the time, live sports doing even open on TV. Stupid devs from Accenture. I am still in loading screen of hotstar and half the F1 race is already over.

You pay money to watch ads in this app. I wish I could get back my money because this app shows you ads every 5 mins.
Only reason I got this app was cricket however highlights are not of HD qualities .

I signed up for the service in December 2019 with a Roku2 XS device. This service was primarily for my mom who left in March 2020. After that, I tried to use it many times and was getting an error message.
With several emails back and forth, I got a call from Hotstar support on August 22nd. I was informed on that day that hotstar cannot be streamed through Roku2 XS. The representative told me at first that the change was made 8 months ago and later came back saying that the change was done 2 years ago.
This was not stated in the terms and conditions when signing up for the service. Furthermore, the representative indicated that it was my hindsight in not knowing which devices support their channel.
Lack of transparency, communication and responsibility of this enterprise led me to cancel the subscription. However, it turns out that they cannot even do that over the phone. A customer is required to go online and cancel it themselves.
What a PAIN!

i have landed to hotstar after being a subscriber of Netflix and Amazon. these 2 platforms are far far superior than hotstar in-terms of literally everything. be it content, be it look, feel or operability of their portals. it feels like hotstart has been designed and operated by a bunch of new comers in the market who have got their product out without any market research or checking out their competitors. hotstart portal has continuous issues and is very slow in response to every click you make on the portal. it keeps me routing to “.us” domain and erroring out, instead of routing to “.ca”.
after every episode when it tries to switch to the next episode, gets redirected to “.us” domain and every time i have to fix it manually. the portal refuses to play any content if hotstart is open in any tab on same browser.
i regret buying an yearly subscription after using it for a week.
