Quality window at a good price
Quality window at a good price. Very easy to order, very good website. Only thing that wasn’t good, there wasn’t any window platforms for the glazing to sit on when fitting.

Hi Mark, thank you for the terrific 5 star Trustpilot review. It's great to hear that you found ordering via the website an easy process.
The Liniar glazing platforms are not supplied as standard as the vast majority of our items go out to the trade and they tend to have their own preferences.
Any universal frame packers will work perfectly fine in their place. I do hope that this information is useful, should you wish to order in the future.

WOW! Thank you David, House Of Windows couldn't have asked for a better testimonial.
Old-fashioned window profile design disappointment
The window that I received has a Victorian-style beading design around the frame and opening window, making the whole thing look very old-fashioned in my opinion. After further investigation, the manufacturer (Liniar) does actually offer a flat beading, which looks infinitely more modern. The seller's website design/order page does not give it as an option (but you 'can' order it), and the description states 'modern aesthetics' not Victorian. This is not apparent from the website. Even the very nice customer services chap had the flat beaded option fitted to his own house (he send me a pic to illustrate the differences)! Extremely disappointed - I think they should have given me the option, and it is not made crystal clear on their website, so I blame them for this mistake. After contacting HoW, they told me that the Victorian design is standard, and the flat design is optional (but to reiterate - they did not offer the flat option).

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback and for sharing your opinion regarding the beading design on your window. We take all customer reviews seriously and appreciate you highlighting your experience.
We are sorry to hear that the standard sculptured beading profile was not to your personal aesthetic preference and that you were disappointed with the look of the window upon arrival.
To clarify, the sculptured beading design is indeed the standard profile supplied for our window system, and this is the profile shown in the primary product images and specifications on our website.
You are correct that the manufacturer, Liniar, does offer the chamfered profile. While the chamfered profile is available as an option for certain window specifications, it was unfortunately not available for the specific colour of profile that you ordered. This is why it was not presented as an option during your ordering process.
We regret that the limitations based on the profile colour meant we could not supply the chamfered design in your case, and that the standard design did not meet your expectations.
We value your feedback as it helps us review how we present product details and options on our website.

We consider the price points in all of the aluminium ranges to be 'pretty unbeatable', and not only do you get a product that is keenly priced, they're exemplary when it comes to durability, energy efficiency and security.
Thank you for your kind recommendation to family and friends. I will pass on your comments to James, who I am sure will be thrilled.
Great company with a great team of employees. Highly recommended
Ordering the windows was simplicity itself. The team at House of Windows are both knowledgeable and very helpful and talked me through the whole process offering advice on things like hinges, vents, types of glass, etc.
The windows were delivered 2 weeks ahead of the original estimate. I was contacted the day before delivery and the delivery driver kept me updated on his progress and estimated time of arrival.
The windows fitted perfectly and are a huge improvement over the previous windows. Great company that I will be using again.

Frame height made too small ( look at small print)
Frame height made too small, should be made more clear that cill is incorporated into the total height, thus making frame 30mm short.
Frame extension needed to solve issue (£27) but £50 to deliver!( must be sent by armed guard delivery service.
1 x pane of glass smashed on delivery, 7 days to deliver replacement.
Not great this time but products decent quality.

Thank you for your feedback Jason. We sincerely apologise that a glass unit arrived damaged upon delivery. While this is a rare occurrence, we always aim to supply and deliver replacements as quickly as possible. Regarding the height, our website does state that the height ordered needs to be inclusive of any cill required. We offered to provide the frame extension at cost, which directly covers the courier charge to us due to the length required. Unfortunately, we were unable to reduce this cost any further.
Easy from start to finish
