DO NOT buy anything from a company with no support
As a customer who bought laptop and printer from this company, recently I was trying to buy an old business desktop model. Some of the info in their product specs is unclear so that I tried to contact their sales team and tech team for enquiries. None of these team give af as they mentioned the product line is discontinued so there is no profit for them so they won't help. Very disappointed. WILL NOT buy anything from them ever again.
No help for customers and piece broke exactly after end of warranty
I have been asking for help for more than a month and still I did not have receive any answer from you. I sent you e-mails, I used Whatsapp HP support, Messenger HP Support and I also used your form on your website. I WANT TO REPLACE A PIECE OF MY LAPTOP AND I AM WILLING TO PAY, what's wrong with you? You don't want my money? What's the point of buying HP products if HP doesn't even answer its customers who need help and would pay for it?
The interesting thing is that this place that needs to be replaced broke exactly a month after the end of the warranty. Really interesting and curious, isn't it?
Terrible hardware, Terrible Tech Support
Terrible hardware, scam prices, pretty sure the tech support guy works the scam call center on the side, and had to jump through hoops to even find somebody who THOUGHT they knew what they were doing with my computer in tech support. 2 Hours wasted. No solution. Went on a random website and solved my problem in 45 minutes. NEVER EVER BUY HP!!!
Never buy from HP (or Currys) again
This terrible customer services experience involves both Currys and HP.
I bought a new HP all in one computer from Currys in October. It went wrong recently, and I took it back into Currys. After demonstrating the fault, they told me they'd send it back to HP for repair. A week later, I got a call from Currys saying that I'd have to pick it up, as HP asked me to contact them directly -- something to do with GDPR/privacy.
I raised a case with HP and a courier picked up the computer a couple of days later - After the computer arrived in their service department HP called to say that they will repair the fault under guarantee (power problem), but they claim that someone had tried to open the case and they can't open the case to do the repair, without breaking the screen. They say my choice is to pay 400GPB to fix the screen or have the faulty machine returned, untouched.
I never tried to open the machine. The most likely explanation is that someone in Currys's tech department attempted to open the machine whilst it was in their possession. Currys promised to investigate, but no answer from them. I've phoned HP several times asking them to send pictures of the issue, but their service department won't respond.
So, I'm stuck between Currys and HP with apparently no choice but to pay 400GBP to repair a computer that I didn't break -

Don't buy HP rpinter
Purchased a new HP 8010 series Office Jet printer.
After set-up & linking to my wi-fi, it refused to print.
Spent nearly an hour onto HP support. They got it working, sort of.
Next day, turned it on & the lights were on but nobody was home. Spent another hour with HP support who eventually stated that it wasn't working because I had 5G wi-fi. I DON'T have 5G. I have returned said item to the supplier & got a full refund from them.
HP Deskjet 2700. 0/10
Worst product experience ever.
HP have a selfish, anti-consumer, greed-based approach to everything they do. Owning HP products feels like a punishment. They act as though it is an honour for me to be allowed to use what I have PAID THEM FOR.
You can't use other companies ink cartridges, despite HP's own branded ones being hyper expensive and virtually empty from new (weigh before use and again after they are empty, it doesn't take long.) The costs of replacing both cartridges is about the same as replacing the printer. You could honestly empty the cartridges in a single afternoon of printing.
Other random surprises:
- Everything you print is sent to their servers. Why?
- My colour cartridge claims it has 60% ink left, despite never having printed a single colour document.
- Set up will leave you feeling dirty after a data mining opportunity they make the absolute most of.
- They try to trick you into subscribing for a monthly charge to get ink from day one.
- They have hidden processes running in Windows background all the time.
- Often quite low erratic print quality, missing parts of text/lines etc. Reprints common.
I have had Epson and Brother printers before, both of those put HP to shame in every way. Buying HP is a mistake they are little more than scammers.
HP's dishonesty, anti-consumerism and greed shows in all they do. I will be throwing my 2700 away and getting a better brand.

Horrible quality and poor service laptop15s-fq2016na Laptop…
Purchased a laptop15s-fq2016na Laptop from HP which arrived on the next day! Great start. Unfortunately the laptop had horrible screen (pixelated and horrible colours) so had to send it back. The laptop was sent back on the next day after receipt and despite multiple contacts with HP and multiple promises I am still awaiting for a refund despite it was retuned two weeks ago.
VERY POOR Service FULL OF FALSE PROMISES BUT NO-Stay Away!
I own a HP Omen laptop and just before the pandemic, I contacted HP UK with a technical, issue with the keyboard which started a long time a go but got worse. I could not initially get hold of their customer services and by the time I did, the 2 year warranty on my laptop had already expired as there was just over a month left at the time.
Due to my work anr the lack of response on the phone, I then contacted HP throigh their supposedly dedicated Whatsapp support and whilst the staff members appeared to be sympathetic and carried oit all the diagnostics etc at the end said that they could not either offer a free repair or at least the supply of a keyboard for me to replace myself as the fault was diagnosed to be the keyboard.
I was then referred to their phone support and again after speaking with different people, once again they said because the warranty had expired on my laptop, there was nothong they could do,. It looked as though even the supply of the part for me to attempt the repair myself was too much for HP. I spoke to several HP staff and sent several diagnostics steps emails showing what I did to assist with assessing the problem etc… and on each occasion I was promised that they may not be able to offer a free repair which they promised that they would try but at least will aim to supply the keyvoard for me to try.
At the end, aftet so many weeks of going back and forth with emails and calls etc… the case was escalated to HP's customer relations and they then, again after several days and then weeks, come back say that I had to pay for the repair and replacement keyboard cpuld not be provided for free as it is not a user replaceable part.
Anyway, I did offer as a compromolise to say, fair enough if you are not offering free repair in the circumstances due to the pandemic etc… at least provide me with the keyboard so that O could try myself and if I cannot fix the mavhine and if the fault appears to be something else then by all means, I would be happy to contact HP and arrange for a paid repair. They said no again. A very stubborn and ignorant way of dealing with customer issues.
My laptop is very expensive and I own other Hp laptops such as EliteBook, ZBook and Elite X2 but historically never had any issues with the HP customer service. On this occasion, it ears that HP's service standards have fallen to the lowest level possible with false promises to help and false hopes. The staff members appear to be acting from scripts and are not sensitive to the needs of their customers. For a machine that was less than 2 years old with hardly any usage and such an expensive machine to go faulty and then be told to pay for a repair even in circumstances where they should be more sympathetic, the way this matter had been dealt with by HP is very unprofessional, lacks sensitivity and is not consistent with the historic expectations I have had with HP as a big brand. I will seripisly consider getting rid of my HP staff and return to Lenovo or Dell for all my future purchases because if a very expensive laptop cannot last for more than 2 years and the service is very poor with so many false promises and false hopes then what good is that company or their service. POOR, VERY POOR SERVICE! I will stay away from HP! I thonk otgers shpuld to avoid having regrets in the future with their warranty/lack of.
