Florian and Huurdokters are very professional! They are prompt to take action, and communication is timely and easy. We worked with them to reduce rent on an apartment in Amsterdam and they negotiated on our behalf with the landlord in a cordial and efficient manner. Through all this, they preserved a good relationship with the landlord and answered all our questions clearly.

​I am writing this review about the intake process at Huurdokters.

Before they even decide if they are willing to take your case, they require you to answer an exhaustive list of questions and provide significant amounts of personal and sensitive data.
​I spent a long time compiling this information, hoping for expert assistance with a complex situation involving bank seizure and rent arrears. After handing over all my private details, I received a standard rejection email stating that they didn't think they could do much and that I simply needed to "pay the rent" to lift the seizure.
​The frustration here isn't just the rejection—it is that they required a deep dive into my personal life to arrive at a conclusion based on basic facts (arrears vs. seizure) that could have been established in a 5-minute phone call.
​Constructive feedback for Huurdokters: Please implement a preliminary screening phase. Do not ask vulnerable tenants to upload their entire life history and legal files until after you have confirmed you are interested in the case. It feels like data mining and wastes time that people in legal trouble do not have.

10/10. My landlord demanded that I leave the house within 7 days. Florian an his colleagues immediately took action, and wrote an incredibly professional response. Since that moment, for a whole year Florian and his colleagues helped me for every step of the way, always available for contact. They are incredibly professional and hardworking. For all that help, it only cost me 120 euros. They have singlehandedly shown me that there are honest and well-meaning lawyers out there with a mission. If you're ever in need of legal aid in renting disputes, look no further!

Timmy heeft zich altijd voor ons ingezet en zelfs, tegen veel gezeik van de verhuurder, weten te triomferen. Hele prettige manier van met elkaar omgaan en ik voelde mij hier altijd goed. Zeker een aanrader!

I had a big issue with a previous roomate illegally subleting me a room. I lost a lot of money but Florian helped me to deal with the situation and get back an amount from all the mess and the stress and supported me all the way to the end. Heel tevreden! Ze zijn goed bereikbaar en geven goed advies over wat te doen. Na 4 maanden een overeenkomst bereikt met de verhuurder en het was snel afgehandeld qua geld. Zou het iedereen aanraden.

Topservice, heel behulpzaam. Ze maken een groepsapp aan waar je altijd je vragen in kan stellen en verder regelen zei alles. Het is ze gelukt om mijn huur met zon 60 euro per maand te verlagen en teveel betaalde servicekosten van afgelopen jaren op te eisen. Zou het als slachtoffer van huisjesmelkers 100% aanraden.

Heldere uitleg, goede ondersteuning en nadat ik het geld terug heb gekregen. Was Timmy nog steeds bereid mij te helpen met ondersteuning rondom het contact met de huurbaas.

Helaas wel wat misgelopen omdat ik zelf te laat aan de bel heb getrokken dus wees er snel bij en zoek als het kan vandaag nog contact!

De huurdokters (met name Timmy) hebben ons een jaar lang geholpen in een proces tegen onze verhuurder. In de tussentijd moesten we zelfs verhuizen omdat de situatie niet meer leefbaar was. Zelfs toen onze verhuurder steeds maar niet de schadevergoeding wilde betalen, bleven de huurdokters erachter aan gaan. Ze geven niet op en houden je ondertussen op de hoogte als er nieuws is. Dit hadden we absoluut nooit zelf gekund, ze nemen je alles uit handen. Grote aanrader!

Van een kennis hoorden wij van het bestaan van 'de huurdokters'. Die tip bleek achteraf bezien een 'gouden tip' te zijn. Wij waren toen al 9 maanden bezig om gebreken, veroorzaakt door achterstallig onderhoud, door de huisbaas verholpen te krijgen. Ten einde raad hebben we de huurdokters ingeschakeld. Deze huurrecht specialisten staan garant voor een doelgerichte aanpak en een efficiënte werkwijze op een eerlijke 'no cure- no pay' basis. Nadat wij hun hulp hadden ingeroepen, werd een voor ons heel vervelende en slepende affaire in ruim 3 weken tijd tot een goed einde gebracht. Ter zake kundig handelen en het geven van gedegen adviezen staan bij de huurdokters hoog in het vaandel. Je kunt ze altijd bellen en er is altijd ruimte voor overleg. De manier van communiceren en samenwerken -in ons geval met Florian- met elkaar hebben wij als heel positief ervaren. Wij zijn ook heel tevreden over de prettige begeleiding en hebben daarnaast de morele ondersteuning als heel waardevol ervaren. Dus, aarzel niet, ga naar de huurdokters. Warm aanbevolen...

I cannot stress how great my experience with the Huurdokters was. At every step of the way, Florian was quick to answer questions and always kept me up to date with the latest developments. Everything was handled very professional!
I had my rent tested and additionally did not receive back my deposit. The landlord tried every trick in the book, even ending up at a court hearing and we still came out 100% successful without any compromises.
In the end I received back my full deposit and 2.5 years worth of rent that I had paid too much. I highly encourage anyone to have their contracts or situation checked by the Huurdokters.
As a tenant you have much more rights than you'd think and there are a lot of landlords knowingly or unknowingly taking advantage of you.
