Expensive disappointment
I was very disappointed with this matchmaking service. I paid for 3 matches in 6 months & it took over a year for then to find these for me. The first 2 were not a good fit & didn’t meet my criteria. The 3rd match never even met me. Months went by between matches with no contact from the matchmaker. I was promised a premier, personal service & was told they were confident they could find me grear matches. Instead it was disappointing & a very expensive waste of money. I do not recommend.
I have just been contacted by the business saying they intend to respond to my truthful. accurate review in order to “protect their brand.” Their response was factually untrue on most counts as I pointed out to them & I detailed this to them. Having read their response below,
I am shocked that they would respond so unethically to my factually accurate & truthful review.

Thank you for your review, feedback is always important. However, in giving that feedback, it is also important to be accurate. Which this isn't.
First of all, I am somewhat surprised that you have left this review some four months after service ended and that you didn't contact us directly at the time.
When you first contacted Ignite Dating we declined working with you. The reasons being at 60 years old, you wanted to meet men between 47-65 years, over 6ft. We could not agree to this criteria so we declined working with you. You then reached out again six months later, was open to more realistic criteria so we accepted you as a client on three match service only, not the full service.
You refused a photo shoot, choosing instead to send us favourable photographs, taken 'in good light'.
In the twelve months that you were with us, we facilitated 24 introductions of which we declined 5, you declined 5 and 10 declined meeting you. We exchanged numbers on four matches, we contractually agreed to three.
Contractually, a successful introduction is numbers exchanged. Like no agency in the industry, we don't guarantee meetings. Our service was in line with the T&C's you agreed to. In our T&C's we state that matches will broadly meet your criteria - of which all FOUR matches that we facilitated did.
The first match you met, he asked to meet for a coffee and you insisted on lunch. When the bill came, you were saddened that he asked to split the bill (normal behaviour for a first meeting) and thought it was 'rude & not good etiquette on his part.' in asking you to pay. We do not promise that men will pay for the first date and can not control behaviours. He was open to a second date.
The second match you spent the whole day with and initially was impressed with him, but chose not to take it further as he passed comments that you were unhappy with.
The third match (of which your text states - 'looks like a match made in heaven.' 'He has the distinct look of Mr Right about him' .... 'Thank you I'm over the moon...') reflected and decided to not go ahead with the match after making contact with you. Contractually this was a match, but as a good will gesture, we agreed to replace the match.
The fourth match, you had video calls, but he decided that he didn't want to proceed as he didn't feel a connection with you. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee the chemistry and we strongly suggest meeting in person rather than video calls as you cant judge chemistry until you are face to face.
At the end of the contract you didn't contact us to tell us of your displeasure, you have chosen to wait some months and then write an unfavourable review. Surely if you were that unhappy, you would have complained when the contract ended. I have reviewed the service delivered and all communications with my team. You have been discourteous at times, demanding that they call you 'immediately' and have rejected valid matches because they are bald (not something you told us was important at interview) or not being tall enough. Yet every-time you said something was a dealbreaker, we changed to accomodate your needs to find you success.
We had agreed to keep you on our database as a network client, which meant you would be matched with paid clients with no further investment. I have now removed you from our database, given you have lost trust in what we do.
After you had engaged the services of three different agencies historically, we really worked hard on matches so that we could obtain the success and relationship that you desired. 75% of our clients find success with us, but this also means 25% don't. Unfortunately, you fell into the latter.
I wish you all the best on your future dating journey. We delivered over and above what we contractually agreed to and this review is inaccurate Our response is factually correct and all time stamped evidence is available for you to review.
Busy professional looking for love
After exiting my marriage and as a busy professional, I didn't want to return to online dating. I was recommended to Ignite Dating by a colleague who had used their services. To date, I have had three matches and each one has been a great experience. Their team know the industry and really understand people and the dynamics of a busy life. Whilst I haven't met my one yet, I feel confident I will and I have actually enjoyed dating again.

Great service for my International CEO
I was tasked by my CEO to find him a dating agency. After speaking with all the main agencies, we decided to work with Ignite Dating. Julie, who interviewed him, was knowledgeable and understood the complexities of his multi-national and location lifestyle. He decided to work with the MD, Michelle.
