    Poor quality ironing - do not fix with feedback

    Consistently iron a significant crease into my shirts in the same place - have raised issue multiple times with no success.

    dissapointing second service

    First time all ok. So I sent more shirts, second time came in 2 batches, half smelling like a pool and with broken buttons coming off etc.

    Support said heres 10 quid on your next order, now they are not responding

    Don't know what has changed but it's not good

    This used to be a brilliant company which would pick up your clothes, wash them and bring them back within 24 hours, with no fuss.

    That was until a few weeks ago, when I got a confusing email saying one of my dresses couldn't be washed normally and would have to be dry cleaned. It was a basic, no-frills polyester dress from a high street retailer with no cleaning instructions on the label other than the most basic normal stuff.

    When they returned the dress uncleaned because I hadn't authorised dry cleaning, I put it down to some kind of admin error and thought, oh well, happens to the best of us, right?

    But since then EVERY TIME I have sent things to be cleaned, I have received emails about the most ridiculous items, saying they won't clean them normally and want to dry clean them instead. If I say I'll take responsibility for any damage that might occur, they say they still won't do it and will have to return the items uncleaned.

    And this is for items which, for almost a full year up to this point, they have been washing and returning fortnightly with no problem.

    I don't know if they're under new management or what's been happening, but it's not good. If you filter by 1-star reviews you'll see several of them are recent and saying the same thing.

    The other day they tried to take payment for a full wash plus two dry cleaned dresses even though (a) I hadn't authorised it and (b) I'd already paid for the full wash. I complained and they are now returning the dresses unclean.

    I am disabled and have relied on this service because I am not able to do my own laundry. Now I'm going to have to find a different company to do it. This is a great shame because they were so good before that I've recommended them to loads of people, and now I wish I hadn't :(

    We’re really sorry to hear this, especially as you’ve relied on us and had such a positive experience previously, we completely understand how disappointing and frustrating this must feel.

    If your items have been cleaned without issue in the past, this shouldn’t now be resulting in repeated requests for dry cleaning approval. We’ll be raising this with our Operations Team to investigate as a priority, as consistency here is really important.

    We’re also sorry for the confusion around approvals and billing, that’s not the experience we want for you.

    Superb specialised cleaning

    Everything from the booking, pickup, cleaning and delivery (even in specialised coat bags!) was superb. I dont think my cream coat has ever looked so good. Will definitely use again for specialised cleaning needs.

    Perfect service

    Perfect service. Easy to organise and amend collection and return. My duvet had a few stains that disappeared completely and it was returned in a nice bag in a timely manner. Nice post service communication too.

    Bad service

    Bad service. They tried to overcharge me by pricing items incorrectly even though the material was the same for all sweaters. I also left a note and called to make sure the trousers i sent to dry clean were ironed with a front crease. Guess what, they didn’t iron as I requested. Every time the same story, this happened 3 times. Go with someone else

    We’re also sorry to hear that your ironing request was missed. We understand how frustrating that must be, especially as you had clearly communicated your preference. This is not the standard we aim to deliver.

    As mentioned previously, we did offer to collect and reprocess the items free of charge to put things right, but we understand you chose not to proceed with this. The offer remains open should you change your mind.

    Excellent dry cleaning

    Excellent dry cleaning, washing and repair service. I'm always shocked by how quickly they can collect and deliver, and the service is very seamless. I love that I can book collections by replying by text and they deal with requests very intuitively.
    Had many items dry cleaned and recently had a few zips repaired which was great. Would love to see an electric/zero carbon delivery option

    Attention to detail is second to none

    I had an absolutely wonderful experience and couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of service. My suits were returned looking pristine, perfectly pressed, fresh, and truly like new. The care and attention to detail were evident in every piece.

    In addition to my suits, I had several items laundered previously along with bedding, and everything came back impeccably clean, crisp, and beautifully finished. It’s clear this company takes great pride in its work.

    What truly sets them apart, though, is the customer service. The team is professional, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure every customer is satisfied. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and enjoyable.

    I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for exceptional quality and care. I will definitely be returning!

    Excellent service

    A very reliable service provider. Punctual pick up and delivery. Quality service, clothes are clean washed and folded tidily. Will definitely come back next time.

    0 STARS! AVOID!

    UPDATE: After speaking with Jamie at their customer service team, returning the trainers for inspection by their operations manager, ihateironing accepted that the trainers did not need the standards necessary and were damaged, and agreed to a refund of the cleaning fee and half the value of the trainers. For this reason I’ve changed the review from 1* - 3* (the customer service post mishap I must say was actually worth 5*… credit where credit is due! Thanks Jamie)

    I had a pair of trainers cleaned (specifically my favourite pair of trainers) and they have come back so much worse than when I sent them off!? They are ruined, and I don’t even know if I can find a new pair online as they are limited edition. GREAT!

    I received an email trying to absolve them of responsibility if the colour fades because of the cleaning process and that they can t be liable. When I asked what method they planned on using g they said steaming and scrubbing where appropriate but professional shoe cleaning methods no washing machine. I OK’d it and in hindsight I should have said no at this point.

    They’ve come back to me dark (not faded, actually stained), the suede has been scrubbed completely off in areas leaving them with bald spots. They look dirtier now than when I sent them off?

    I am really upset - these were my favourite trainers that had a lot of sentimental value hence having them cleaned. I specifically told them that they were of high value and to be careful, and they haven’t ‘faded’ they’ve visibly damaged them and made them look 10x worse.

    Gutted and will NEVER use these guys again. In all honesty I may even look into small claims court because the trainers are worth a lot of money, and I agreed to some colour fade not direct damage to them and them to overall look so much worse!
