I was setting up the printer in an IMac. I was still getting used to the computer because it was new as well as the Canon printer. Bill was very helpful in the chat window and I appreciated it very much.

Но у нас есть техника, операционные системы и все это требует технической поддержки. Я очень долго мучилась с настройками принтера. Несколько месяцев. К сожалению, я не имею возможности оплатить членский взнос Canon, российские банковские карты не принимают для оплаты. И замечательный человек по имени Билл - помог мне. Он помог мне без регистрационного взноса, бесплатно! Он предоставил мне ссылку, по которой я смогла установить драйвер на мой новый принтер. Я много нервничала и переживала, ведь есть новая техника, но пользоваться через компьютер ею невозможно. Как быть? Я уже заказала кабель, но Билл помог мне. Дорогой Билл, я очень благодарна вам. The site is a descriptive guide of how to setup the printer. The support team is also very helpful with making us understand the process of installation.
I would rate them less than 1 star if I could. They made me feel like it was some kind of scam. They told me I didn't have the drivers I needed to install my Canon printer and I need to pay $199.99 to install Microsoft drivers because mine were expired. I told him I would contact Microsoft directly and he hung up on me.

Hi Shelly, I am really sorry but You have reviewed the wrong company, We are not the ones you have paid anything because we do not have phone support. We do not provide remote or any kind of support. I am really sorry to say but we are not even able to find you in our subscriptions, The highest plan in our subscription is $6 and $199.99 is not even anywhere near our plans and pricing. There are many scam websites pretending to be canon and choosing to scam people showing fake errors and warnings. You can reach out to us and we will help you recover your lost funds from the scammers.
i Dislike the installation process. Impossible to find the printers drivers from the canon website. I needed to contact the support via a person not a bot.
It's not normal that I have to call support just to install my Canoscan.
Anyway, Jason was very helpful and the response was very clear and swift.

We do not have any Support number that you can call on, it is not us, we do not call or take support calls. We only provide help to our users with our embedded guides on our website.
Please refrain from calling support online, as it might be a Tech Support scam.
Amazing, I could not find anything on any other site about my printer, the live chat handled it very well without any issues. I was able to get started with it easily.
