I met Juliana at a conference a couple of years ago, and we continued our conversation about Colombia via Zoom. I finally got the opportunity to visit this magnificent country because of her. Her extensive knowledge about the country is incredible. She took us on a fabulous journey through Medellín, Cartagena, and Bogotá, learning about their culture, food, and history. I’m a university professor, and Impulse Travel did an outstanding job facilitating our reporting expedition in Colombia. Impulse Travel, and specifically Felipe Cadena, organized a three-week trip for me and my 82-year-old mother through Colombia. What a great job!
- he answered dozens of questions very promptly and patiently.
- gave suggestions on the itinerary based on our specific needs and abilities (greatly appreciated!).
- arranged all the details in this long and complicated itinerary.
- stayed in touch throughout the whole trip allowing and taking care of a couple of small adjustments.

A huge thank you to the Impulse Travel team and all its local partners! While I'm staring out the window at windy snowy weather right now, I'm reminiscing often about last month's trip in Colombia, my 4th time with Impulse!

As one who designed and led small group trips for many years, I know well how much goes into planning, preparing and facilitating travel experiences, particularly those intended to yield beneficial impacts for local communities; micro-entrepreneurs, small business owners, and employees; our planet; and the hearts and minds of travelers.
