Cancelled via email on a friday for a Monday move
Booked weeks in advance for a move on Monday.
Cancelled on me Friday after 2pm via email saying van broke down and no guarantee for Monday. But could do tues/wed.
How can you guarantee it will be ready for one day and not the other? How can you guarantee it will be worth Tuesday?
Since speaking with other local movers I have been told "in one piece " dont often do home removals. I believe they got a more profitable job or simply had no interest in doing it.
In their response on another review they have contradicted themselves saying they told me first thing/that they told me at 2pm. And that they spent all morning "exploring different options "
Why not rent a van and take the hit? I woukd have incurred the extra cost.
No other businesses were recommended, not alternative suggestions as what I could do. I live alone and they know this. I got no phone call in response. Watch out ,do not bother taking the risk. They still never bothered to call me .
After speaking to other local moving companies definitely AVOID these guys. Real pity as I wanted to support a smaller local business. Dont bother!
There are better more established companies and these guys seem well known to them.....

What you may not be aware of is that we spent the entire morning trying to find an alternative solution after the vehicle breakdown. We contacted other removal companies and explored every available option to try and keep your move on schedule. Unfortunately, no suitable vehicles or crews were available at such short notice.
Finding a replacement removal van is not always as simple as it may appear, especially on a busy weekend. In fact, the very companies you mention and recommend would likely confirm how difficult it can be to source a suitable vehicle and crew at short notice when a commercial vehicle unexpectedly breaks down.
We informed you as soon as it became clear that we could not guarantee the move would proceed on Monday. Our intention was to give you as much notice as possible rather than waiting until the last minute.
We have been operating for over 8 years and have successfully completed hundreds of home and commercial moves. Our reputation has been built on reliability, professionalism and always trying to do the right thing for our customers. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, unexpected mechanical failures do occasionally happen in any transport business.
We respectfully reject the suggestion that we cancelled because we had a more profitable job or had no interest in carrying out your move. That is simply not true. We invested significant time trying to find a solution before informing you of the situation.
While we understand your disappointment, this was an unforeseen operational issue rather than a lack of commitment to your move. We sincerely wish you all the best in your new home.
