What we do

Our services include British Sign Language interpreting, Video Relay Services (VRS), and tailored accessibility support for businesses and public sector organisations. We also provide guidance and resources to help organisations meet accessibility responsibilities and communicate more effectively with Deaf people.

We collaborate with experienced, qualified interpreters and Deaf professionals, ensuring all work is carried out with professionalism, confidentiality, and respect.

Remote Booking

Although the booking was very short notice, the booking team provided me with the prep materials that I needed and introduced me to the client to get the connection information and links I would need. Also, they followed up to make sure that I received them and answered the questions I had.
It would be helpful in the future to inform the interpreter that the booking session will be recorded and shared externally. I only found out when the session started.

First time experience

This was my first experience with Insignlanguage, and it was a great one. They initially contacted me via email and I also received a follow-up message on WhatsApp to make sure I had reviewed the email. The staff were professional, friendly, and very easy to communicate with. Although the assignment was unfortunately cancelled at the last minute by the client, the team at Insignlanguage made sure to keep me informed—even contacting me while I was already on-site to make sure that the venue was aware of the clients reasons for cancellation. Despite not getting to complete the job, it was an absolute pleasure dealing with them and I hope to have more opportunities to work with them in the future.

They haven't paid the interpreters money owed.

They haven't paid their freelance interpreters for work carried out and are still booking interpreters knowing they can't pay.

We sincerely apologise for any distress caused by delays in payment. We deeply value the contributions of our freelance interpreters, who play a vital role in the services we provide.
We do not anticipate delayed payments, hence why we send you future bookings and requests that need to be filled. We are an ethical company that values agreements and promises to pay our valued interpreters on time. If you would prefer us to check your availability for a future request only when your current invoice has been processed and paid, we would respect and honour that. Please let us know.
Please be assured that we take matters related to payment processes very seriously. We are currently reviewing our internal systems to ensure that such issues are resolved and do not affect future engagements.

The team is a diverse team

The team is a diverse team, it makes us feel inclusive and it is a Deaf/BSL friendly team. Their services are amazing. Worth to use their services if need.

Best of British Sign Language Professionals

Their sign language interpreters and deaf translators are really friendly, helpful and their signing is outstanding - excellent articulating, clear British Sign Language. I highly recommend them for BSL.
