I purchased some timber including three…
I purchased some timber including three 2.4m posts. The posts that have been delivered are bowed beyond use. I am self isolating and have asked for them to be taken back (I can’t leave the house) and my money refunded. I sent this email on Saturday and haven’t heard anything back yet.
I have replied to the email in the reply this morning and am awaiting a response

Flooring timber delivered was unusable due to structural damage.
The flooring timber supplied was partly not as ordered.
Interline Brixham were informed of the problem and arranged a prompt return of the faulty timber and agreed a full refund. Days later I received a partial refund. I appear to have been charged by Interline Brixham approximately 18% of the initial invoice for the return of an agreed faulty order. Fortunately
I took the precaution of photographs of the faulty timber in question.

As explained on the phone when raising the return for the goods it doesn't give us an option to refund the initial delivery charge and this is an oversight on our end
The refund is being processed but may take a few days to process with your bank
In the UK we are seeing huge issues with stock and supply of timber products and it means we are often having to source from new suppliers. Unfortunately we haven't sent out timber that would normally meet our high standards for this order but it will be passed on to the branch and suppliers
If you can send the pictures of the damaged goods through to websales@inter-line.co.uk we can have these sent forward for you
We appreciate all feedback we get as it will help our service moving forward and hope your next experience with us will make up for this

Polite
Had 2 deliveries in the past and 1 yesterday, all drivers were polite and pleasant.
Very careful stacking wood and where it was placed on the driveway.
The wood and sheet material are always in great condition, ie: no warping, twisting or damage of any sort. ( a little is expected though ).
Even when picking up small amounts of wood from store, the men were brill.
I wish everyone in life was like this. : )
