Excellent service from Investravel, we found ourselves stuck in Edinburgh after all trains were cancelled and needed to get to Newcastle to pick up the train to London, short notice they sent a driver, competitive price and great driver, thank you.

Unfortunately got stranded after storm Arwen in Edinburgh. Investravel came through & at short notice provided a competitively priced quote for a chauffeur driven minibus to get our party to Newcastle for a train back down South. Friendly driver. Comfortable service. Happily recommend this company.

The bus (hired with driver for my wedding day) was late on the day. The bus driver said the postcode was right but for the amount I was paying (nearly £800 for a day...) I'd expect the bus driver to maybe get in touch the day before and check everything? God forbid.

The worst thing was the state of the vehicle. There was chewing gum on the seat that stuck to my trousers, which for a groom on his wedding day is pretty embarrassing. We had a small wedding party and the gum didn't come from anyone.

I flagged this up with the booking agent who had a bad attitude and was patronising. No apology or even offer of a partial refund to cover dry cleaning costs. His argument was, 'you booked at short notice so just be happy it turned up.' Wow.

AVOID AT YOUR PERIL

Was given a quote on the website for £49. When I called to confirm, I was given a new quote of £180 for the same (20 minute, one-way, off peak) journey. Found another company that would do the journey for £29, with a Merc van taxi. Think this company is a rip off.

Terrible communication with the organisation and were late to pick us up. They are not organised well which makes planning a trip with them stressful.

We will not use this service again.

Fantastic, I had to find someway by road to get someone I knew and her three children and luggage from Thornwick bay to home in Lowestoft which was more than 200 miles on 16th August as they were coming back from holiday, they had gone by train but had more luggage on the way back and had got a bit of a cold. For a few days I was panicing and have never felt so stressed, in the end I typed into google, emergency taxi, I got Investravel and decided to go with them, I booked just 2 or 3 days before they had to leave to get home, I have been told by the person that I booked for that they were excellent at collecting them, 30 mins later than said, but that was because the driver was coming from leeds which was two hours away. The minibus was clean and driver was very helpful and polite, I asked the guy that I spoke to about things like if there have to be any stops if needed, he said just to give the driver plenty of time, the driver even stopped and gave everyone a break and thankfully himself a well earned break, will use again.

Was happy with the service, comfortable and had help from the driver with bags.

Do not use this firm! Completely ripped me off. Slightly behind on the original booking time in Liverpool for a wedding event, agreed a time to leave with the Driver for an additional cash fee and then he promptly left 5mins before the agreed time. No emergency contact number or help. Had to organise new transport myself at further cost. Absolutely awful and completely untrustworthy.

Investravel . Literally stepped and saved us last minute when let down by another coach company . Would like to thank them for keeping us informed through texts and phone calls the driver Emmi turned up promptly and the coach was clean . Emmi was a ball played some good tunes . And turned back up for the return leg back to Liverpool on time as well
