This is certainly not the standard we aim to provide, and we sincerely apologise for the condition in which the item was received. As soon as we received your email, we began investigating the issue and have kept in contact with you throughout.

To resolve this as quickly as possible, we have arranged for the item to be collected, and a full refund will be processed as soon as it has been returned to us.

We are sincerely sorry that you did not receive your order as expected.

Unfortunately, the parcel experienced issues within DPD's network and was ultimately returned to us. Upon inspection, it had sustained damage in transit and was not in a condition we felt was acceptable to send on to a customer, so we immediately issued a full refund.

Whilst DPD generally provide an excellent service, this shipment fell well below both our expectations and yours. Throughout the process, we remained in contact at every stage via both email and telephone, proactively providing updates as soon as new information became available and working closely with the courier to resolve the issue on your behalf.

We fully appreciate the frustration this situation caused and apologise again for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience whilst we worked to bring the matter to a resolution.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review, and for recognising that we responded to your emails promptly. We’re sorry for the delay and completely understand how frustrating this must have been, particularly after choosing Express Delivery.

We’d like to reassure you that our customer service team did not intentionally provide incorrect information. At the time of your emails, the order was with the manufacturer and tracking details are only issued once the item is physically dispatched. The delivery estimates we provided were based on the information available to us at that point.

That said, we fully accept that the timescales given were too optimistic and that our communication could have been clearer. As soon as it became clear the express service could not be met, your delivery charge was refunded in full.
