IOLLA - Richmond Avis 20

IOLLA were recommended to me by someone who had bought their glasses from them at a branch in Scotland.
I needed prescription sunglasses for driving so went along to the Richmond branch to see what they had. I was hugely impressed by the range that they have, so much choice! I have a narrow face so it can be difficult to get glasses that aren’t too wide for me but I found several options.
James who assisted me, was super helpful, friendly and patient. I can honestly say that I have never been so happy with sunglasses! I very rarely wear sunglasses because no matter which ones I wear, I cannot see clearly enough.
I will definitely be returning for reading glasses.
I would also like to add that the assistant that I saw on collection of the glasses was also very friendly and helpful. So refreshing to have such a pleasant experience when purchasing glasses.

Friendly & helped my wife find a frame that suited & fitted her. We ordered varifocals & a blue light thin lens which would help to protect her eyes from computers.
1 week later we called in to have them fitted/ adjusted by Merlin. My wife is very happy with them. Thank you Merlin.

Visited the store in Richmond to kill time whilst waiting for lunch on Easter Sunday.
Left having ordered a pair of high refractive index glasses at a fraction of the price I thought they were going to cost.
They arrived on time and are perfect.
James and Merlin in the store were excellent. Great product offering, great service, great staff.

Walked past the Richmond store on a stroll, popped in for a look, and ended up with tapas, prosecco (sourced from a Spanish restaurant nearby) and a pair of polarised sunglasses I genuinely love.

I'd been eyeing a similar pair of Ray-Bans at roughly twice the price.. around £200 vs £100 here. The Iolla pair wins on fit, colour and overall look, and the polarisation has been a game-changer after years of squinting through non-polarised Ray-Bans in the London glare.

Same quality, half the price, much nicer buying experience. Highly recommend.

Travelled from Oxford to Richmond to visit the new store. Wasn't disappointed, a beautiful store with exceptional customer service. So many frames to pick from. Decided to purchase 2 pairs. Arrived in store within a couple of weeks. Very happy with my purchase.

The team in Richmond are brilliant. Friebdly, great advice and they know their stuff when it comes to prescription glasses as well. Frames are all at a fixed price and there is a load of choice

Hurray - now there’s a new Iolla in Richmond. Really good selection of lovely well made frames in a great variety of different styles & colours which are light & well fitting. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I bought 2 pairs of glasses & 1 pair of sunglasses. The value for money is incredible as it includes frame & thin lenses. As my prescription is complicated & I need varifocals it was more than the standard price but I still paid for 3 pairs what it would cost for 1 pair in other contemporary independent glasses stores. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you to James & all the staff.
