The best one, that I ever used.

Worst tech support I have ever encountered. Takes an act of congress to reinstall and activate software after a crash. They say to call tech support to get it reactivated but then say you can't contact tech support without a support contract.

Easy to use, stable solution.

I have used WS_FTP for 14 years. Just got the Windows 10 version. It always works without any issues

I have 3 computers and I have to purchase 3 times because I can't install this software in more than 1 computer

somewhat intuitive, flexible and convenient to use. The transfer of files is quick and seamless. However, you do need to know what you are doing. It is a little bit confusing to navigate through the file structure, but this depends on how the file structure is set up. It may take about an hour of use or for some people, more time, to get used to the requirements of the system. Once this is done, the system is relatively easy to use and it works great.

You have good products but for me to expensive. In case of PC crash it is necessary to have a support contract to reactivate the product.
Wishing to have in future lower prices.

I have used WSFTP pro for many years -- practically daily. The product itself is not bad, but they have found that they can't really add much to it, so they do things like restricting your license to only one machine. It's kind of a ripoff given that there are other (free) products available. I have not had great interactions with their support staff either.

If you are a first-time buyer: just say no.

Many of us are kind of locked in because the product has stored login information in a way that is not easily exportable to other programs. I am in the process of migrating to another system so I can get free of the tyranny.

Ich konnte im Gegensatz zu ca. 20 Jahren bisher diese bezahlte IPSWITCH-FTP-Programm leider überhaupt nicht installieren, geschweige denn nutzen, somit muss ich es zum nächstmöglichen Termin kündigen, aber eigentlich wäre es besser, wir könnten den Vertrag im gegenseitigen Einvernehmen rückwirkend auflösen und für nichtig erklären. Ich habe nur zwei Tage meines angestrengten Berufslebens vergeblich gearbeitet und keinerlei Benefit davon und bin, was EDV-Installationen und komplexe Nutzung zB für regionale Internet-TV-Senden anbelangt, nicht ungeübt.

I have used this program for more than 20 years. It is one of the most reliable pieces of software I own, easy to use and critical for maintaining our website. I consider it the definitive FTP program.

Jedes mal, wenn ein Rechner bei uns defekt ist,
war es uns nicht möglich, das Programm auf einen neuen PC zu übertragen. Wir waren jedesmal gezwungen, ein Update zu bestellen.

I am a web programmer and have been a ws_ftp customer for many many years. About 3 months ago, I started getting a message every time I opened the program, "that support was ending soon", but that I could keep using the LE product (which worked fine for many years, and was still working fine)... all I had to do was to click the button to extend the usage period. When I clicked on the link, many different times, I received a 404 error. I tried emailing customer service on the company website and explained the issue, and never received a response. On the last day of support, the program just stopped working. All of my client information was stuck in the LE program, and I had no choice but to upgrade to the newer product and pay the $49 fee. In the past I would always recommend your product to clients for their FTP needs. I was not happy that I was forced to upgrade, and pay the fee.

Good company. I use their WS FTP Pro software, and it has just the option I need, which I could not find in other FTP software.
