Ipswitch has been very helpful over the years. They have seemed to have thought of everything. The product is very stable and there usually a setting to address almost anything.
Only had a few instances where support couldn't provide a solution. They have been helpful too.

Excellent tech support. Poor training.
-Excellent tech support.
-Although I would recommend this to anyone I really, really wish they had a training program for MoveIT. I have been told that the product is so plain vanilla that only 2 hrs and a couple of YouTube videos are sufficient to know it all. That is total garbage and has been a frustration for years. Luckily, the tech support guys are great and help to make up for the lack of a decent training program.
-The MoveIT Analytics server is terrible. I wish we could use it but it never has worked for us. Reports disappear or never get saved. The performance is abysmal. No training and terrible documentation and even the tech support guys admit it is not a good product and whenever I call them with a question they have to escalate it to a developer because even they can't figure it out.
-Web interface is interesting but too slow and difficult to work with for most admin tasks other than a few nice sorts and reports.
-Overall, we love the basic product and it has been great to work with when compared with other products out in the market. It could be even better.

MOVEit as a product is easy to use and extremely functional, however I am not a windows programmer.
Getting into the weeds with scripting is not in my wheel house so if I have to do anything out of the ordinary with scripting it would be better to have someone with that experience on my team.

WhatsUp Gold
The technical support is good. Hopefully the software architecture can be improved to have true multi-threaded process, WhatsUp Gold can be installed on most machines. Some shortcoming in threshold alerts are overdue for many years, and difficult to manage and deploy, various monitor such as Ping up/down and ping availability are duplicated monitor in Active and Performance monitor, result in extra resources and load. Some plug-in such as APM, NCM, Virtual Monitor are quite stagnant and has a lot of room to improve, to catch up with competitor products.
