Scam - cancel subscription
Thanks to all who've reviewed on Trustpilot, I realised the 79p payment was in fact a subscription and cancelled in time (I hope). I took a test on 6th and the payment was due to come out on the 8th. Sadly, this tells me more than I wanted to know about my IQ!
I was scammed
I was scammed! Be careful! They try to charge you with 45 € after you payed a smaller amount.
Scam
I was also scammed I thought I was paying only for 0.70 but then 2 days later they charged me with 44.90 can anyone else with the same experience tell me if they keep charging you after you cancel your subscription?
I failed the test
Scam.
Paid a small amount for an IQ test and was later charged €44 via a hidden subscription.
Using the same account, I was charged another €44, resulting in two subscriptions for one user.
Support sent only generic replies and ignored the duplicate charge issue.
Feels like I failed the IQ test haha
Scam
Scam, 0,70 cents leads into 22,90 euros to pay, this illegal and some authorities should step up
Misleading
Avertised as "free" on the link from the Google search. you waste at least 10 minutes and much like other websites, it asks for your email to "send results" and then tries to charge you. Free, where?
never trust this site
never trust this site, they will keep the card details and loot your money everymonth. I lost 29.99 without subscribing anything.

Cuidado tienen malas artes, tú pagas por un test y lo que realmente pagas según ellos es una prueba de una suscripción de 44 euros que comunican de manera engañosa.

Just don't...
If everyone is complaining about the same issues with your website, if customers are consistently unhappy with your service, and if many are calling you a scammer, then you cannot defend yourself with shallow arguments. This site is designed to appear innocent while engaging in deceptive practices to scam users.
DO NOT BUY ANY IQ TESTS FROM THIS SITE!
I was scammed by IQInternational.org.I…
I was scammed by IQInternational.org.I initially purchased a test for 0.70EUR, they present it as a one time offer, and two days later, I get a notification that 44.9EUR was taken from my card. They don’t offer refunds.
I never agreed to the 44.9EUR payment. I wrote to their support email, They told me that there must've been a misunderstanding but they still aren't going to give me a refund. I told them that I'm going to cancel my subscription, which I did immediately after. I've also told them that I will be starting a dispute with my credit card company in hopes to get my money back.
Total scam - to get a refund
Total scam. As everyone else has said - no transparency and they caught my teenage son out with a Subscription he did not agree to. But I have been promised a refund after I wrote to them as below. The law I refer to is in the Uk but there are similar consumer protection laws throughout the EU as they are based on an EU directive. Please feel free to adapt the text below if you need to ask for refund.
PS - the first response I received was an automated reply telling me I could not have a refund. I followed up asking for an address to serve legal proceedings and got a reply saying they would make a one off refund as an exception to their usual policy
I am writing on behalf of my son XXXXX who purchased as IQ test from you for 79p on Thursday 12 June using the email: XXXX. On Saturday 14 June he realised that you had taken a further sum of £30 from his account. He did not authorize this second payment. Looking at your website you appear to be operating a scam whereby you sell an IQ test for a small amount and then, without the buyer’s knowledge, authority or approval, sign them up to a monthly subscription.
Your terms and conditions (ts&cs) state that the subscription fee is non-refundable (3.1) and is automatically charged at the beginning of each billing cycle. My son has already cancelled the subscription. Your ts&cs state that “IQ International does not provide pro-rata refunds for partial months or unused services. Once a billing cycle starts, the full subscription fee for that period is due.” (clause 3.4). However your ts&cs also state under Clause 6.2 Subscription Refunds (Post-Trial) Legal Obligations “We will comply with any refund requirements mandated by applicable laws in your region.”
My son is resident in the UK and purchased the IQ test from the UK. Accordingly you were obliged to comply with the Consumer Contracts (information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This requires that you provide the purchaser with the following information at the time of purchase:
- A description of what he was buying, including how long any commitment lasts.
- The total price, or how it will be calculated if it can't be determined upfront.
- How and when he would pay, along with any extra charges like delivery fees.
- Information about his right to cancel, including a standard form to make cancelling easy.
- Details about the seller, including their address and contact info.
You did not provide the above which is an offence under section 19.
It further requires that you provide a 14-day cooling off period during which the consumer is entitled to receive a full refund provided they haven’t used or accessed the services during this period, which my son has not done.
Please therefore refund the £30 subscription fee within 14 days of receipt of this email.
Yours faithfully
Scam!!
0.72 centesimi poi dopo 2/3 giorni vi addebita 44 euro come abbonamento. Scam! Non vi da rimborso dopo 2 giorni!!
