Where to begin. I was looking to replace my old worn out varsity jacket and after googling found Stewart & Strauss. Well, what can I say they had exactly what I was looking for. So after much thought I purchased my coat in the color fabric style I really liked. Stewart &Strass did not disappoint, the coat is amazing. It is slightly too large when I wear it but looks amazing. Using the website I was able order a jacket (Letterman) for my graduating grandson. It took a very short time and from Michgan to Oregon in less then a week. It is perfect and very reasonable price too boot.
They answered my email questions within a few hours after I sent them.

Stewart and Stauss saved the day! My daughter asked for one thing this Christmas, a varsity jacket. I ordered one from another vendor online. A week before Christmas they cancelled my order leaving me empty handed. I reached out to Stewart and Strauss. It happens that the pink and white jacket I needed was in stock. I ordered it that afternoon. It was in my hands literally 24 hours later. It is real leather sleeves, durable wool body and lined throughout. MUCH better quality than I would have gotten from the other vendor.
It's hard to tell the validity of companies these days, but these guys are the real deal. Thank you again for the save! Great quality and unbelievable customer service!!

I always wanted a lettermen's jacket but it was not available to me when I was in high school. When I came across the site and saw what they offered, I knew it was for me. I created a jacket that encompassed my high school years. The quality is fantastic and the only thing I would suggest is that you offer more patches that can be professionally added. Otherwise, super job!

Stewart & Strauss are a fine example of how customer service should be! I ordered a custom letterman jacket for my daughter whose school does not offer them, and it was ordered and intended as one of the main gifts she will receive for Christmas. When the shipping notification arrived in my email, I did not catch that FedEx had inserted the wrong city for delivery until the date it was scheduled for delivery. In a panic I emailed Stewart and Strauss and within minutes I received a response back that they would contact FedEx, track down my jacket and get the address fixed and the jacket to me. THE VERY NEXT DAY, I received my jacket!!! The quality is superb and the customer service is "old school" and this day and time "old school" service is what customers deserve and is almost unheard of. Top notch customer service with tons of choices to personalize you new favorite jacket. When I thought I’d put together an Indiana Jones homage letterman jacket, Stewart and Strauss were the best choice. And it turned out great. I can’t wait to wear it on my next trip to Disneyland.

I was looking into getting a "Mardi Gras" colored jacket and after looking at a few sites, the best option was through Stewart & Strauss. What shocked me was how fast it came in as a custom large size jacket. It kept me warm, stylish with my look, and I was even asked about where I bought it.

Stewart & Strauss: I purchased their hoodie sweater in size XS for $119. The quality was excellent, but it was too large. I contacted them by their website, and they accepted my return with no issues. Several days later, I purchased the same hoodie sweater in size XXS for $139. I wrote to them by their website, noting that I was charged $20 more for the same item, less than one week later. They immediately agreed to refund the difference with no issues. I was very impressed with their friendly customer service. I would order from them again.

EDIT 12/11/24: After posting this review, I received an email from customer support saying that they would refund my order upon receipt of its return, despite the company typically not accepting returns on custom orders. The refund has been issued as of today. One star has been added for the customer service.

Good quality product, and customer service seems very willing to work with what you ask for. However, there is no communication between placing a custom order and receiving it in the mail, so if there is a misunderstanding with your direction, you won't know about it until the jacket arrives. I am now unfortunately out $230 (sale price) and would need to order an entirely new jacket to correct the mistake, so two stars have been knocked off for the cost.

For prospective customers to avoid this issue, perhaps create a 3D rendering (or provide a photograph, if possible) so that there is a visual for the production team to work with. Or ask if they can send photos of the custom jacket before they actually ship it. I neglected to do either of these things, as I wrongfully assumed--after having dealt with a different company before--that there would be some back-and-forth to ensure I approved of the finished product.

Again, though, good quality jacket. Just not quite what I had intended. If your personalization is simple, you should have no issues.
