James Plumbing and Heating Avis 5

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Wish I had read the reviews on Trust Pilot. One of their guys attended my property to replace a kitchen tap, was told it would cost £329 but I would receive a warranty. Was told I had to pay straight away and he would email me an invoice. I had to chase the invoice but once received there was no breakdown of what I had paid and no mention of a warranty. The tap is whistling so I have been trying to contact him, keep being told he will phone me. Complete scam! His company is Rapidfix Plumbing. Avoid them at all costs!!!

Didn’t arrive when they said they would, rude, called me a ske*(t), refused to get out of my flat when I said I didn’t want them to do the job because there was a cheaper quote. As a young, petite woman this was extremely intimidating. They spoke to each other in a different language so that I couldn’t understand. Threatened me over the phone that “you don’t know what will happen to you” (several different phone numbers used… dodgy)

Made a hole in the wall paid to have it filled in they put wood over it to hold cement in took wood off still a big hole. Tiles chipped and pin missing on pole that holds shower head. It's says family run business for 50 years verified on Google they were muslims who had to go to pray. All different numbers when you call them. How do I report to Google anyone know.

The most awful time I had on any jobs
Was charged 340 fir twenty minute job on a toilet blockage
He fixed it last Monday with /5 mins
Insisted I pay in my home . Awful experience
A week later no receipt or invoice
Worse of I had to get a guy around by 5 pm same day as broke again
No mention of warranty
Poor service
Still waiting for a refund can’t contact them
I don’t mind call out fee but it’s bad

No. No. NO. This company makes out they are local but are not. Two lads showed up and unfortunately I knew more about the problem and explained the job that needed to be done. So, the part, I found online, then I found a local plumbers merchant and the part for £28 . SO how much to do a fifteen minutes job….£300 plus VAT. I said no, no, NO but I had to pay the call out charge of £54. Abysmal.
