Java Bere Avis 

I recently took Java’s “Tell the story of you” 1:1 consultation. If you are like me who is trying to navigate through the world of instagram blindfolded then Java is the one who will remove that blindfold. I followed her about a year ago, she is one of the most creative and down to earth person you will ever encounter on social media. I am not a big fan of all the social media coaches out there who claim they have cracked code and you need to buy their secret formula. But I trust Java, because she made me see very clearly that I already have what I need to grow and she will help you to bring your own story to life. Her approach is simple yet meaningful with clarity. I only wish I could have known her sooner!

I recently took Java's workshop Tell the Story of You on Instagram. I loved Java's creative and insightful approach to a platform that can often feel noisy and driven. I came away inspired and feeling more confident about using Instagram to tell my story.

I had a session this morning with Java Bere about telling the story of your own home, and it was such a positive experience. In particular, the idea of a “love letter from you to you” was especially impactful and has really stayed with me.

She was warm, kind, and genuinely listened. I didn’t feel rushed, just supported. The advice felt personal and meaningful.

I’m really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Java gave us so much space to play & create, so much energy, so much time and so much of her experience & knowledge.

This comprehensive and inspiring self study course is easy to work with and will guide me as I design a program for myself. Tell the Story of Your Home I will adapt as I recreate my new story after leaving my country home of 50 years. I will use her directions and prompts to craft a visual story that I can share with others. I am so glad I found Java Bere and she is someone I am very excited to be working with. I am very careful about taking online courses and curate my purchases. She will be my go to beyond this course as my work unfolds.

Java’s Tell the Story of Your Home course changed not only my understanding of my home and how to style it, but also my understanding of myself—for the better. In the past I mimicked what I saw others do in their home in the hopes that it would work well in mine, but that plan often failed.

After going through the exercises, I learned how to methodically and thoroughly (though not rigidly) consider each space I was working on in my home to make it serve its needed purpose for me/my family in a way that is beautiful (and/or cozy, peaceful, joy-filled, safe, etc…you get to decide what traits are most important to you).

Interestingly enough, the same approach works well for personal style—I feel much better about making clothing choices after this course (not an intended course outcome but a happy and pleasant one for me nonetheless).🥰

Highly recommend this for anyone who feels even a little lost when it comes to home styling, anyone who loves to gather, or anyone who is looking for a change in their current spaces. ✨
