This person should be in Jail. For Copyright Fraud & other Illegal matters including reselling my Exclusive Beats I paid $500 USD each x 4. When I went to log onto his page I witnessed that he was re-selling those same beats & he still re selling these same beats after 10 years.
I caught up with him on Twitter & he Blocked me claiming what can i do from Australia.? I think his real name is Jason Dwight Zegles
Jay-Wan was also using UMG - Universal Music Logo as his Flagship promo & claims that hes A&R for UMG on his Linkdein page - Now he's using a Miami Vice Logo.
He operates out Marietta Atlanta GA according to his Linkedin page. He is a Scammer & should not be operating a Company.
I have notified Jaywan Aka Jason several times asking for refund with no replies - I have also sent records to an Atlanta Attorney as a reference for future Legal Claim when I Tour there hopefully next year.
BEWARE OF JAYWAN. I engaged with this guy Michael at Jaywan for a Spotfy project of mine last year. I have the transcript about our transaction and his ‘money back guarantee if distribution companies do not pay following promotion’ . When the distributor did not pay on this particular promotion, I asked ‘Michael’ about the ‘Jaywan Guarantee’. He could not be reached despite over ten emails. Then the Jaywan Online Chat disappeared. Also I work with A&R people on major labels who are involved with Spotify and they have never heard of this Jaywan.
So looks like his testimonials are fake. Months later, I am still waiting for my distributor royalties or my Jaywan Money Back Guarantee. Highly suspect organisation, approach with caution.
Found this guy on Instagram and his website CLAIMS he is working with various record labels. At the time of writing this review he has a number of " testimonials " at the bottom of his website when you click on the Spotify promo option. Here is what happened when I contacted him and those testimonials mentioned on his website were in place ( quote )........... (ME)Please send me price list and proof of Playlist success for artists .(ME again) ok don't bother - looked up your artists ( like " Esco Bank$ " etc ) who gave you a reference and all of them have pitiful results on Spotify . So let's not waste each others time.( HIM replying):Excuse me?Not smart.(ME responding:) I am very smart - that's why I checked up on you (HIM replying)I'm sorry but respectfully, you know absolutely nothing. The Artist's testimonial you looked up switched distributors 3 years ago. Obviously, any analytics from a campaign we ran 5 years ago will be lost in any type of distribution switch.( ME replying:) None of the artists I looked up had any significant monthly listeners not just the one I mentioned above .Next example : “ Lone Wolf Music “ - 7 monthly listeners - NONE of their songs have over 1 k plays.Next example : “ Teddy Augusta” - 28 monthly listeners - low song plays ( highest 7 k - others barely srape above 1 k … or nothing). Need I go on ?............................................To sum it up :Weirdest experience !
