I was previously scammed by an auction company and lost my Audi R8 and just over £25,000 I had tied up in it. I called JBR the very next day after realising I got scammed and asked them to work with me and track my car and get it recovered until I settled the dispute with the auction house. JBR refused to help as they said they couldn’t be seen to be taking sides but today they called and told me that they have accepted the finance settlement from the auction house and are going to carry on and process the funds and shut down the agreement with myself. The only way I had of getting my car back was if JBR sent the funds back to the auction house and therefore the car would have remained on finance and in my name and it would have been unable to sell! But now they’ve accepted the funds from the crooked auction house, I have lost my dream car and all of my £25,000 savings I had with it! Absolutely disgusted! Been paying JBR £500 a month just in interest alone to pay off the car and for them to side with the auction house after seeing all the evidence is disgraceful and a massive kick in my teeth! I was told by a member of staff that I would have to now pursue the auction house by way of solicitor and court, which is more money and a process that will take 6-12 months and a high chance that the auction house will go under, so no doubt il now be left with nothing. In a world that’s already cruel enough, it wouldn’t hurt to help out the little man once in a while. All of you big company’s can’t see past your greed! Never missed a payment, never asked for anything other than a bit of help after i got scammed. Hard working dad of 3, with no choice but to carry on. Thanks for nothing JBR.

Amazing service

I was absolutely gobsmacked at this company quotation for an Aston Martin I wanted to purchase; I recently requested a quote and found the proposed terms to be significantly uncompetitive. The quote carried a 12.9% APR, resulting in a total cost of credit exceeding £20,000—over 34% of the vehicle's purchase price.

Furthermore, the agreement was structured with a balloon payment representing over 67% of the car's current value. For a decade-old asset, this strikes me as a high-risk financial strategy for the consumer, with a strong likelihood of negative equity at the end of the term. While the service was prompt, the financial product itself does not represent a sensible or competitive option for serious buyers.I will have to look elsewhere.

I dealt with Gabe - who made the whole process so easy. He was very quick to respond on emails and the phone, the credit checking process was straightforward, and he dealt seamlessly and directly with the dealer. It’s hugely refreshing having a direct contact who can answer your questions and help with the process.
