JBS Lofts Ltd Avis 

Hi this is quite a strange review because I am not the homeowner. I live nearby a property that had a loft done and it looks fantastic, but my main five star review is the fact that all the people that worked on it were polite and nice, they didn't have loud radios on, there was no swearing and it wasn't noisy at all. I think that's a really important point to make and I wanted to say thank you.

I think the best word to sum up our experience with JBS would be ‘smooth’. These guys seriously know what they’re doing and it’s impressive to watch. We had to wait a while before our loft extension could start (they are in demand and some material delays) and our loft probably took longer than most, but our design was quite unique, including a 4.3m long window which brought its own challenges. All of the team are respectful, they engaged with our kids (which we really appreciated!) and they actually did a full days work - 8am - 5pm… none of this clocking off at 2pm nonsense! Professional, smooth, good communicators, adaptable to changes, up for a challenge and all round lovely guys. Thanks to the entire JBS team for our incredible loft extension.

JBS have been professional and done great work throughout. Our new loft is beautiful, sturdy and has character - really opening up our small terraced house to make room for our little one. The work was well coordinated, everyone turned up when planned or let us know of any slight schedule changes, and quotes were transparent. Everyone doing work was friendly and mindful of our daughter and cat wandering around the house. While we needed a little extra work above the original quote, this was clearly explained and it has made the house lighter and safer as a result. All invoices matched the quotes and the team always responded quickly to queries. I would definitely recommend JBS for anyone else having their loft converted around Bath or Bristol.

JBS Lofts did a fantastic job converting our loft into three light filled double beds and a super family bathroom. They transformed our existing bungalow by cleverly designing the stairs and landing to let in extra sunlight. The team are experts in what they do with tons of previous experience, and guided us through the project with ease. A really friendly team to have working on your home project and they were always available to answer our questions. We highly recommend Nic and the JBS team to anyone considering a loft conversion of any size or shape!

JBS from start to finish have been amazing. The initial quote process was easy and they are very knowledgeable about everything, good with ideas of how to do things.
The build itself was hassle free, the team we had were just great, everyone is really polite and nice to deal with, they always clear up after themselves at the end of the day. We had more than our loft done, we reconfigured our first floor as well, and the work has been excellent.
Post build, like any work on a house, there will always be things that crop up and JBS have been quick to respond and come out to take a look and fix things we’ve needed. Nothing major, but it’s all been no problem at all.
I’m so happy with the job they have done and I would not hesitate to recommend JBS to anyone. Quality work, professional and personal service and the end result for us has made such a difference to our house and how we live. Thank you so much JBS!

JBS did a fantastic job with our loft conversion. They were professional and managed the process effectively so the job was completed on track. The work was scoped accurately from the start. The additional work we added during the build was quoted for quickly and with good detail.
We lived off-site but we still got regular updates and the team were very responsive to our questions.
We're ever so pleased with our light-filled, new bedroom and beautifully tiled ensuite.
I would not hesitate to recommend JBS Lofts. In fact, I already have to one of my friends.

JBS did an absolutely brilliant job with our loft conversion. Right from the start they were really professional, communicated well, and made the whole process as smooth as possible. They were responsive if we ever queried anything, and all the tradespeople who worked on the conversion did so to an exceptionally high standard. They were respectful of the space and very good at tidying up after themselves! There were a few (minor) delays to the start date (understandable given covid, materials shortages etc) but once they started they were incredibly efficient, kept us updated throughout and and finished on time. We're absolutely thrilled with our new en-suite bedroom and would definitely use JBS again.

We are proud owners of a beautiful bespoke new loft extension. It is perfect for us. JBS converted our house into an awesome home that makes so much sense for our family. From Day 1, our expectations for this project were continually, brilliantly smashed. We choose this company on two recommendations and are delighted with our choice. For each stage in our project, JBS worked closely alongside us. Communication was excellent and we both felt that decisions made along the way were well informed because of the level of detail our team consistently gave to us. Everybody gave us time. Everybody listened to what we wanted. Everybody made us feel like part of the team. This made decision making a lot easier. Many times they suggested exciting different ways of doing things that they thought may work for our family. Because of this approach, we now have several embellishments and new designs that suit us in a bespoke way. Our team was polite, hard working, skilled and delivered to a standard we were happy with. We enjoyed this build and when I updated friends and family with progress, I’d say we were having so much fun. Our children also enjoyed the build and the team were extremely patient with all their questions and fascinations with the build. Our eldest child was proud and pleased to be asked to fix door handles in the second fix. It really has been awesome and we 100% recommend these guys to others. We are proud to have a loft created by JBS.

We had our en suite fully built in with a new velux window, nothing was too much for the boys. They created an amazing new bathroom from a complete shell and were just amazing in every area. Communication, consultations, discussing what was realistic versus how we thought it would go! We appreciated the honesty and actually ended up under budget with a far superior plan! Couldn’t be more impressed and highly recommend! Added value to our property aswell as creating a beautiful area we’re so proud of and still smile every time we use it! Fab company!!

I’m sure Nic and the team would agree our 2 bedroom loft conversion was like no other! It is an old end-terrace cottage on a slope, with resident bats that also had to have their own room and nothing was straight. Every step of the way the team was friendly, professional, considerate, adaptable and highly skilled. It was done in 2019 and we are absolutely delighted with the difference it has made to our home.

Jobs were a great team and clearly have loft dorma conversions down to a fine art. They were efficient, clean, helpful and we are so pleased with the extra space our loft extension has given us. Would highly recommend JBS.

JBS converted our terraced loft and a downs stairs bedroom into a family bathroom. They were really amazing. The attention to detail and craftsmanship of the carpenters and electricians was outstanding. They highlighted potential problems we hadn’t foreseen and suggested solutions, ahead of any actual problems arising. They were always polite, friendly and did well at keeping areas clean and child friendly. Despite Covid, we had minimal supply issues and although the timeline slipped, there was little they could do about it. I would recommend them and happily use them again myself.

I don't think the JBS team could have done a better job. I was fortunate to be working from home for the whole period and was able to interact with the onsite team frequently. Despite me asking lots of questions, they were always accommodating and made me feel comfortable with everything that was going on. Everything was done within the planned timeframes and we are very very happy with the result. They were friendly, respectful and did a great job.

JBS were recommended to me by three of my colleagues who had all had loft conversions they were really happy with, so when they gave me a competitive quote I didn't hesitate to book them.
Nic was really responsive when quoting and finding out my requirements, even coming to look at the property to confirm it was an option to convert before I exchanged/completed, as well as throughout the job whenever I had queries. The team doing the conversion were exceptionally professional and their work was to a really high standard. I really appreciated them taking the time throughout to explain to me what was happening and when, and I'm pretty sure they left it each day cleaner than when they arrived - thanks in particular to Tyler and Jonah. The management and scheduling of all the different tradespeople coming in at various stages was really smooth and if I ever had any questions Joner was quick to respond whatever time I asked them.
I'm really happy with the conversion and honestly cannot recommend this team strongly enough!
