JD Gyms - Bury Avis 

Great gym - the manager (Alistair) is very helpful. If I ask him about anything he always goes above and beyond to help. Gym is always tidy and clean.

There's always a friendly atmosphere and the staff are lovely! I really enjoy the classes and want to give a shout out to Kamila, who has been my PT for 18 months now! She's fun, friendly and pushes you to do further because she knows you can 💪

As a female wanting to joint a gym I was nervous and not sure, a warm welcome from Kamila soon put me at ease.

I liked the lay out of the gym, and it ticked the boxes I was looking for.

Alistair, David, Kai, Lewis, Kamila & Dom just to name a few of the Pts and staff are friendly,helpful and approachable if you need any help.

They are just a few of the great PTs you can choose to work with.
They have an information wall about all the personal trainers which is a good idea, and helps you choose the right person for you on your journey.

They have a great selection of classes, def worth a try and mixes up your training.

Here we go again – another day, another air con breakdown. How hard can it be to fix it? There’s literally no air to breathe in here, and still no improvements are being made. JD, with so many members and your headquarters right here in Bury, surely you can afford to sort this out! And please don’t reply with the usual ‘we’re working hard to fix the issue’ - this problem has been coming back repeatedly over the last two years

Update 14.10.25: Months later and the air con’s still down. Outside is chilly, inside feels like a sauna for forgotten socks.

Love this gym - excellent selection of equipment including free weights, machines and functional areas, and equipment is well maintained and functional. It's always really clean and staff are extremely helpful and friendly, also tons of parking.
