I haven't spoke to any members of staff. Its like you just join and have to work the equipment out yourself atleast two staff members don't smile I've just received dirty looks. I joined a 25 membership but yet its not accepting my email address so I can't enjoy any offers. I will just cancel the membership

Very impressed - JD Wythenshawe
I was very impressed. I spoke with Dylan on the phone before joining. He helped me get used to the gym in Wythenshawe by taking me around for a tour and talking through the process, helping me get used to what the gym can offer, as I have never joined one before. The support was excellent. Without his one to one advice and help in the first few weeks I would have probably not joined. He really helped me get used to the gym and showed me what the equipment can do. Brillant Gym and staff.

The staff and people that attend the gym are so lovely , its very spacious and I feel really comfortable after only being there for about a week.The price is also amazing and great value for money , and I couldn't recommend it enough!

Great facility, Great Facilities, Great member of staff
My first ever membership with JD Gyms and I'm loving it so far. I attend the classes and they are so good, it is good motivation. The facilities are good, loving the sauna! The staff members are super helpful too!

Large, well equipped gym. No Les Mills
Gym is large, well equipped and very clean. Really enjoyed the Burn class. However would love you to put on some Les Mills.

Crowded carnage of a gym
Having bought a membership with the offer I descended the Manchester gym at the back of the Palace Theatre. It was carnage. Three, perhaps four people per piece of equipment, the gym was overcrowded and free weights were scattered everywhere. This was a early midweek afternoon! JD are obviously more interested in numbers and income than any kind of qualitative or healthy experience.

Recommended by friends, probably one of the best gyms in Manchester. Good vibes, huge changing room, spacious, doesn’t have every single equipment but has most that you need. 9/10.

Gym was low quality
Gym was low quality. Half of the gym was treadmills.
The app itself is useless it doesn't track how busy the gym is or how long you've been there.

Brilliant price for a city centre gym with amazing range of classes and equipment! It’s a no brainer. A protein shake bar would be incredible though
