More than your average gym!
I have been a member here for 5 years. It’s not your average gym the staff are welcoming the members are friendly and I’ve never felt out of place. The gym is always clean tidy and well maintained. The refurb is fantastic but the team make the gym what it is, No matter what they’re always helpful, supportive and on hand to give advice. I couldn’t ask for a better gym to train in!

Great gym staff all really friendly and informative, always on hand to help and guide. Craig really helpful, always interacting with members. Great selection of fitness classes with great instructors, Caths classes are brilliant!

Zumba classes with Debbie are great fun you get a great sweaty work out. Friendly classes. She is an asset to the gym and each class has lots of variety and great music

I initially joined JD South but soon…
I initially joined JD South but soon changed when I saw Debbie was doing Zumba classes at the North site. I have done Zumba with Debbie for almost 9 years and love the classes. Always leave feeling sweaty but great!

Debbie is a fantastic zumba instructor, she is always so happy & energetic and she gives you the boost to keep going. It's so much fun, I don't stop smiling throughout the class, and feel great afterwards.

Great gym. Kept clean and tidy. Loads of equipment. Functional area is really good. Alex the General Manager very helpful and friendly.
Could do with an 'Adjustable Pull Up Bar' for the Rig. The JD Gym at Darlington has one.

Great facilities
All staff incredibly helpful at all times, instructors fab.
Gym facilities always maintained and cleaned to a high standard.
Unfortunately the lighting in the studio is way to harsh and can have a negative impact on people attending a class.

Great gym
Great gym now, always kept immaculately clean, good facilities and plenty of cardio equipment. Could do with some more of the upper body weight machines as these are popular with big groups of the younger members and it’s sometimes hard to get on them.
