Friendly staff, great facilities, brilliant classes

I love this gym
It's spacious with lots of equipment so even when busy there us kit to use
The lockers and changing rooms are well appointed. There are regular induction session if the machines look bit intimidating. The staff are friendly and helpful

Great equipment, just need to get to know the layout, which I will in time

Induction was good, the apparatus we were shown was explained fully.. all the staff are so friendly and the girls always gave a smile, changing rooms are spotless and the workout area

I’ve been training this week whilst on holiday and the JD Gym at Cleveleys has a huge choice of equipment, you don’t have to wait for any equipment as there is plenty for all gym users. You really are spoiled for choice! There’s a great vibe and the staff are very helpful and welcoming - plus what a stunning location! You can train and look out to sea!!!

Great Gym - plenty of equipment

A great gym 🏋️‍♀️ I would tell all my friends and family about it. And go to it

Pros - Great gym, lots of different machines to use and clear instructions on how to use them
Large changing rooms
Decent selection of weights

Cons - always busy (maybe needs longer opening hours?)
I've witnessed lots of hogging of the machines (people spending 15-30mins on 1 machine)
Only 1 of each leg/arm machine
Not a lot of floor space (but there is a lot of benches which aren't used that much, maybe get rid of some of these?)
Leg machines facing cardio? Weird layout choice - would probably work better if cardio was facing the windows and the rest of the machines towards the back

Great classes such as body combat and body pump. Staff knowledgeable and professional

Staff really friendly and helpful all machines and equipment was clean and tidy. Great visit made to feel very welcome.

There doesn't seem to be many classes as night or much variety (based on the Cleveleys gym).There is one or two but they are later on but we like to go around 5.30/7pm. Also we never see any staff so if we went on the free weights and wasn't sure if we were doing it right we wouldn't know who to ask so don't bother going on. Plus which is a big bug bear having to take my phone with me to get in and out and the wi-fi around there is awful is so annoying. I prefer to leave my phone at home especially when just doing a class.

Plenty of equipment and all in working order. Very clean and airy and lots of room to workout without being in someone else’s space!

Recently joined this gym and excellent so far. The reception staff are excellent too.

Really good gym. Amazing value for money. Very spacious and loads of machines/weights etc. couldn’t find any fault with it.

Great gym and fantastic value for money. Lots of equipment and changing rooms are very clean. The instructors on the floor are also very friendly. I would like to see more classes like kettlebells etc: the studio floor is really hard/harsh underfoot when doing combat

After being a member at Bannatyne's for years I finally took the plunge and joined JD's Cleveleys. I have the plus membership which works great as I work in Fleetwood and live in Blackpool.... suits me just fine!!
I left Bannatynes as I thought it was expensive and didnt suit my needs. I like combat and pump and there were very limited instructor led classes . JD has a large number of instructor led classes, loads of cardio equipment, weight machines and free weights. Very happy and very glad I made the move. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend!!

Excellent gym and great equipment. Good atmosphere, clean and tidy.
Friendly staff. Although some gym members, mostly men do drop the weight machines and bang them down.

I have been a member at JD Gym in Cleveleys for a couple of years and I have just started with a PT there named Danny, he has been an excellent source of knowledge for me and really helped me take my training to the next level at a time where I have lost confidence in what I was doing, really helped set me back on the right path to progress.
