EXPEDITION SPICED Our first expression is Expedition Spiced: a Caribbean white rum base, built up with seven real spices, two natural sweeteners, and bourbon oak for maturation. - Madagascan vanilla, Ceylon cinnamon, Peruvian ginger, Spanish orange peel, Sri Lankan cloves, Guatemalan allspice, Indonesian cassia bark - Mexican agave syrup and Sussex glucose syrup for natural sweetness and mouthfeel - Bourbon oak for the finish - No artificial flavourings, colours, or additives - 40% ABV · 70cl Built for slow sipping. A good sipping liquor with lots of flavour

I normally take my rum with ginger beer (three old tots with a can of GB) but decided to have a double neat and was happy as most of the stated flavours were detected a very nice sipping liquor

Since you're a ginger beer drinker, our take on the Dark & Stormy (Storm & Spice) is on the website; a couple of dashes of Angostura really lifts it. Big fan of it neat over ice myself too.

Well packaged and lovely tasting rum! Gentle vanilla flavour. Great on its own or with a mixer.
Also impressed with the ethical focus on ex-Servicemen and women, and the environment!

You will not regret buying this!

This is the best spiced rum I have tried (and I have tried a lot!), and in the top 10 of my favourite rums. It doesn't have the sweetness of most spiced rum drinks and is more like a rum with spice rather than spiced rum. It is perfect to drink straight up, I didn't bother with a mixer as it is so good on its own, but I'm sure it would work well with ginger beer or your favourite addition, but seriously, try it on its own. There's no burn like you get with most spirits, Expedition is silky smooth. Fantastic quality, fantastic customer service. Roll on payday so I can buy more!

If you haven't already, I highly recommend trying it in a rum old fashioned, or as we have the recipe on our field manual 'The Old Standard' the addition of demerara sugar, orange peel, and Angostura bitters is truly something special.

A wonderfully designed bottle

A wonderfully designed bottle, with quality rum. A great idea. Communication from the company could have been better, but I understand they're a very small set up which makes each bottle more special.

Worth the wait

Bit of a slow delivery with no communication, but did arrive I am glad to say because I think this is one of the best rums i've tasted . Tried it neat with ice and a squeezed wedge of lime- very nice, but I prefer it with a spicy ginger beer and it was delicious, that good I ordered another bottle before finishing my second drink, good luck with your venture.

There was a bit of a problem at first with the delivery but I was kept informed constantly with the developments and teething problems.

Absolutely special flavour

Absolutely special flavour. Nothing on the market tastes like this. First off the quality on the bottle and label are a cut above and nowhere should anyone discuss top end rum without mentioning expedition spiced. Had to do the first taste test neat and fair play what an adventure of flavour, smooth with warmth and a subtle 'you know you've had a shot' feeling. Highly reccomended and definitely well worth the wait

Great tasting rum

Jerry can spirits Expedition spiced rum. What a fantastic spiced rum. Took a swig neat, lovely flavours but I decided to mix mine with ginger beer and a slice of lime. A nice mellow vanilla flavour ripples through the spices with the citrus of the lime to wake up your tastebuds. Only thing I wished is that I ordered another bottle at pre order. Great effort guys, and for a great cause too. Your making some fine rum 🏆 🥃

Amazing product

This rum has a smooth, rich flavour It’s easy to sip neat or mix into other drinks and the aroma is warm and inviting. Great quality for the price — definitely a bottle I’d buy again.

Amazing drink - going to buy more

As a non rum drinker usually, I cannot say enough of how amazing this rum is.
It pairs well with ginger beer, coke and even apple tango!

The bottle is a fantastic shape and totally different than all others on the back bar.
You can really see the work that's gone behind this beautiful drink.

Hi Jade, Thanks so much for kind words, we really wanted this to be a drink that works well however the drinker prefers it, whether that is straight up, over ice, or mixed into their favourite cocktail. We haven't found anything yet that it really doesn't work in, but we will keep on experimenting to find out.

Ordered 6 bottles for mates and I to…

Ordered 6 bottles for mates and I to try. One bottle hadn't made it in transit and was broken.... Rhys had already spotted the delivery photo and was sending a replacement.
Am now ready to try the rum and have given a couple of bottles to mates to try....

Jerry Can Spirits, Seriously Impressed!

I tried Jerry Can Spirits – Expedition Spiced Rum and was seriously impressed! As a non-rum drinker, usually. I couldn't of asked for a great better start.

It opens with smooth vanilla and caramel, followed by a gentle cinnamon warmth. There’s a slight citrus freshness that keeps it light, with a subtle ginger heat on the finish.

Easy to sip neat and works great with ginger beer. Sweet, warming, and nicely balanced — I’ve pre-ordered a bottle and will be buying this as my go-to rum, from now on.
