I've built my career developing expertise and skills in medical billing. Over the past 2 years and 9 months, my work has been recognized as promising, for being promoted from medical assistant to primary medical biller. I've successfully handled responsibilities like payment postings from different EOBs, check payments, direct deposits, RFMS, Medicare/Medicaid, bank tie-out from bank statements, bank reconciliation, invoicing, processing write-offs and refunds, addressing patients' billing concerns through phone calls and email, data entry, and understanding denials. I take pride in being knowledgeable in this field. I learned that with these complex tasks, I always need to be efficient and accurate. With my years of experience in medical billing, I have honed my communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle pressure properly. Also, I practiced and embodied how to treat patients' data with the highest level of care, such as accessing information that's only necessary for my role. I believe that these strengths will allow me to perform well in the medical billing field and to positively impact your team's goals.

This experience was great because, it is definitely not something I am used to. I am used to in person interviews, but I feel as though this online interview really gave me the opportunity to really get my point across and explain who I am as a person in a professional setting.
