Jo Downs Glass Design Avis 

Made an order for a birthday present but ordered fairly late in the hope it would come on time. After a couple of days I hadn't had an update on the order so called to check on it, and honestly so impressed by the service I received. My call was answered quickly, they located my order and have now sent it next day delivery which I am ever so grateful for. Lovely lady (didn't get her name unfortunately!) and thank you so much!

I won one of Jo’s rainbow sticks in a National Trust competition and it hangs on the wall as a reminder of a lovely sunny happy picnic we had when my kids were younger and a quick photo snap on my iPhone turned to a winning photo. Since then I’ve bought a few more pieces as they become addictive! It’s also nice to support local Cornish artists

I have three pieces of “ Jo Downs” beautiful glass.
A mirror ,a vase and a dish which are admired by everyone.
I have owned the mirror for over ten years and recently noticed an issue with the felt backing. After contacting the main base at Launceston I was advised that there may be an issue with the adhesive bonding the plates to the back.
It was arranged that I drop the mirror off at their Sunningdale showroom as it was closest to me. From there it was returned to Launceston for repair. The mirror was returned to me yesterday and I was absolutely delighted. It is literally as good as the day I first saw it. Amazingly there was no charge.
The whole matter was dealt with efficiently and courteously.
Thanks to the whole team at “Jo Downs” particularly Sarah at Sunningdale and Lorraine at Launceston.
Now that is customer service at its best!

Booked and paid for workshop for myself and best friend for her birthday present … sadly she was taken seriously ill the night before and we couldn’t go. I asked Jo Downs company to move our dates to another workshop but they refused citing as we hadn’t gone we had cost them money. When I asked how we had cost them money when they now had £190 of mine which included £65 each worth of glass - which hadn’t been used…. So they had in fact made £130 of money because we hadn’t used the glass , they said time and prep.
They rigidly quoted their T and C ‘s and gave no consideration to the reasons we couldn’t be there at short notice . There was no goodwill shown by them and I have lost £190 (that I saved up for my friends birthday ) which I cannot replace without saving it up again. I never wanted a refund…. Just the opportunity to share that workshop with my friend. Very, very disappointed in their attitude and lack of customer goodwill.
I would not go back there to do this course or any other and I hope they enjoy my money - as they obviously needed it more than I did!

Ordered online a leaf design for our sitting room 2 days after I get it a Sale starts! 20% off!! This happens and usually the seller will offer you the discount or a credit note for all or part of the amount, nope didn’t get a reply to my email and when I rang they said “we don’t know when the sale is going to be so we can’t do anything” Very poor customer service.
Like the leaves but wont buy anything else

These are beautifully hand-crafted pieces of glass design. They have a wonderful shop in Padstow,Cornwall and we’ve also bought some items on-line from them. Not just wonderful products, but also five-star customer service. Very quick delivery, excellent communication. Top recommendation.

Love this company, beautiful original glass designs from Cornwall. But not only do you get a very personal piece of art but also great after sales back up if there is a fault, I have brought a good few unique pieces of glass art from them in the last five years since seeing their display pieces in their Padstow shop. You can buy with with complete confidence either in store or online, well worth what you pay, and the glass is so beautiful.
