Well laid out store

The John Doe team were excellent from start to finish from a very knowledgeable Simon in the Flooring department who spent a long time with us to get the right carpet for our needs to Damon in the office who kept us informed about our order to James and Freddie who fitted the carpet with great professionalism. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family. It’s so nice to have a real family firm to deal with in these days of multi national companies.

Scot and Simon were in and out in 10 minutes, brilliant service

The shop is beautiful. The staff are extremely helpful and are always jolly and accommodating, patient too as I never feel rushed into making a purchase, especially as it takes me several visits to make a decision.

Salesman was knowledgeable but not "pushy". Made the choice of product entirely ours. A nice experience.

Disappointed that I was told the delivery time for the mattress would be about a week and when I called after a week, it's still two weeks away. I was told if they don't have many things to deliver to the Diss store they just wait until there is more. I bought a sofa that is probably still sat on the shop floor, to be delivered at the same time. If they had been honest and said the mattress would be three weeks I wouldn't have bought it - which is exactly why they weren't honest. So I'm still waiting... No offer of the sofa being delivered while we wait. I wouldn't shop here again

Delivery was on time. Simon and Scott were polite, worked very quickly and check as all the chairs over. All rubbish was taken away.
Definitely recommend John Doe as a company to anyone

Kept informed on delivery date and time.
Simon & Scott phoned me before they arrived to tell me they were on their way.
Unloaded everything, then set to work putting the beds together.
There was a problem with a mattress being slightly too deep for the trundle bed. But immediately got on the phone to store, reassured me it would be sorted. They removed all packaging. Highly recommend bothe delivery men and John Doe for excellent customer service.

What a fabulous experience from the point of deciding what to order with the help of the lovely people in the store especially Tom & delivery by Simon & Scott today. Best experience we have had with a furniture company. My husband had a fall whilst the delivery was in progress & the guys helped get him back on his feet. Nothing was too much trouble.
