Blackout liner color problem.

Blackout liner color problem.
Ordered a woven wooden blind with a light beige liner. Received a blind that was the color I ordered on the front and white on the back. Contacted customer service - apparently the light beige that I requested is sandwiched in between the front and back, completely invisible. Double checked website, nowhere does it describe this. No return. offered me 20% off a different blind, so I'd be out $500 for a single usable blind and one for the trash.

Owned their blinds for a little over a…

Owned their blinds for a little over a year, haven’t really touched them much and the mechanism that helps pull up the blinds is already broken. These are extremely poor quality, go elsewhere.

Cheap Cheap Cheap

The blinds are so cheap and the hand up and down feature don't work. Don't buy here. The customer services is really terrible and will not help you.

Go with someone else

The blinds were not perfect initially, but I dealt with it. One was too long, one was too short, and I had a professional measure my windows, so it wasn't us. After 8 months, the motor went out on one of the blinds and they sent me a new one. This one is lighter than my other blinds, and 2 inches too short (mind you, these are the same measurements I used before, and this window did fit initially, so it is their error and they way they are cutting the blinds).

I called to file the complaint and they said because I didn't install them within 14 days of delivery that they can no longer help me and I need to buy new ones.

Do not buy. These are poorly made and come from China.

VERY POOR SERVICE.
I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE NO STARS!!
Sales person on phone talked the company up, had person to come and measure, supply quote to sell, sell, sell. I agreed with the quote paid my deposit.
2nd measure was done 2 weeks later, all good, told me 4-6 weeks.
I rang after 7 weeks and was told they will find out and get back to me, did not hear from anyone and rang back a week later……was told she will check it out and get back to me, 30mins later I get an email to say “sorry for the inconvenience but the team have advised they cannot move forward with my order”
NOTE: 2 MONTHS AFTER INITIAL SIGNING OF CONTRACT”

Imagine how much interest you could make by holding on to customers deposits!!!!!!
WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!

Many times I purchase products that…

Many times I purchase products that need modification or a long BS install. These shade were neither. If you measure correctly, they will fit and install was less than 15 minutes. Lose the up down feature to let in light while maintaining some privacy. Will buy again for a few more windows in the near future.

Great blinds & Great customer service

I’ve been ordering blinds from this company for my rental properties for 8 yrs. They’re well made and have great customer service. I usually order the faux wood blinds but for a back kitchen door I order the white aluminum blinds. After 8 yrs the blinds got pretty worn and I ordered a new one. I think these are made even better than the old ones. Always recommend this company to people.

The blinds are ok but if something happens down the road don't expect any help from JB. I had to temporarily remove cellular blinds to replace the windows and needed to replace the mounting hardware. They will not sell you new mounting hardware and they do not/will not provide any hardware info for you to find some on your own. Better off sticking to the bigger brands.

Poor customer service

Good quality blinds, but 5 weights missing from the order. I phoned 3 times, but just got a recorded message. Then emailed, but no response. Poor customer service. I've to buy the weights elsewhere.

Worst customer service ever!

The customer service is absolutely terrible! I bought 4 sets of outside shades last year costing nearly $1000. The cast roller clutch they used were horrible always getting stuck because the chain used and the coupler were actually too big for the channel through the clutch. Well finally two of the four shades clutches broke and I asked their customer service if I can get spare parts. Instead of a call or answer they simply removed my question... What the hell! Do not buy from this company.. now I have to replace not just a clutch but the entire shade, so there goes $500!

I ordered a custom roller shade since…

I ordered a custom roller shade since my window was not a standard size. I gave them the correct measurements that they asked for. I got the roller shade but they cut the size down in each side for easy rolling. This made the shade barely cover the window frame and looks too small for the window. Also, Since it was cut down I could not connect it to the sides of the window frame and had to connect from the top of the window frame. There is a big gap there and looks horrible. I called the company to see if I could order a valance to cover it since I did not order it with the original shade. I have only had the shade for 1 week. Customer Service told me since I did not buy a deluxe warranty I could not return or replace it. Also, if I wanted a valance for the top, I would have to order another shade with the valance and no credit for the original.

So basically, I gave the correct measurements, the shade looks like poop in the window and they will not help to make it better. Money down the drain.

Not light filtering

I bought 4 black roller shades. Picture clearly shows light filtering and description says light filtering. When received they were completely black out. I’ve contacted support numerous times and all they say is that their vendor shipped the correct product. So if this is what their vendor creates, and they choose to sell this as a “light filtering” product, then they are lying to their customers and STEALING their money. They will not get me a refund or provide me with light filtering shades. Thieves.

I ordered Vertical Blinds ($165) and…

I ordered Vertical Blinds ($165) and measured exactly how the asked me to. I had to cut the blinds to fit because I couldn't afford to wait another 4 weeks to return them. Since I had to cut them to size the valance didn't fit. When I called them they said that I voided the warranty and they would charge me for a new valance. Very dissapointed.

Yes I’m so sorry too, I am not used to be being treated this way hards sales pitch I know all about n I fell for it when I know better to never ever sigh on the day, he’s good n top notch producer at sales my family were all sales pitchers from double glazing to time shares to Xmas markets, to advertise space, nhs advertising on fire man diary’s the list is endless I’m sorry I sigh on the night I knew not to,
Especially when I liked zero that was shown to me.

Adam our surveyor brought all the books in for your viewing in which there are 100’s of materials to be chosen from. The material you had chosen is what has been manufactured (which you had held upto your wallpaper to prove a match). No it’s pvc I said no to pvc seller hard core pitcher said that all patterns were only available on pvc. Non was on material all just on pvc

Adam has worked within the company for over 10 years and has sold many vogue rails (coloured rails) and hundreds of vertical patterned material. Q?

This was only spotted by myself and only after about 2 weeks after I got spam from just blinds I then saw that it was available in other colours ??? Y wasn’t this shown ?? Why wasn’t it discussed on the hardcore sales pitch ??

When our fitter arrived to install your chosen blinds he was told that you no longer wanted them in the living room (the room which was measured and chosen by yourself) and that you in fact wanted them fitted into your kitchen. Yes because it’s pvc I feel pvc will serve its better justice in the kitchen as I was told I had to sign n pay on the day, an 80% deposit also it’s 25%
Also it’s fiction that non pvc are available on material blinds

All our products are made to measure and bespoke so the blinds that you had chosen for your living room would not fit in your kitchen. Yes it’s too short different size , but I was told that it was to be made at an extra £25 more ??

When the order has been chosen and paid for there is usually a 24 hour period in which changes can be made. After this period orders are sent to production and no further amendments can be made. This is the confirmation signed for by yourself that you have received via email.
I no idea when 24 hrs were up, as i had no idea to whom I paid I had to wait for bank statements to come before I knew whom. I paid as no paperwork was given to me I had no copy of what I had signed and no means of knowing whom I had paid
No proof no record was provided after I paid n sign other than bank, bank has not been updated for 2 weeks as soon as I got to find out it was just blinds I said right away before they unpacked it as I had found website and rang n left a message and no response from message I left I still am leaving voice messages n still no reply

As all our products are made to measure the deposits made are completely none refundable.
So are we done ?? You keep my money n the curtains n I don’t have to worry anymore about it n I’m free to go else where?? No comeback??

As per telephone conversation with myself you can choose a different material / rail and this would be charged at cost. How much ??? £26 I agree to pay if it’s on material not pvc for window on living room, pvc to fit kitchen at £25 more ???

I would leave zero stars if it was an option. They sent us the wrong color blinds, then one of the 2 we ordered stopped working within the first month.
Here we are A YEAR LATER and nothing but empty promises about new ones being made. They have stopped responding completely. Legal scam artists? They got me for $1500!

Broken parts, no easy way to get them replaced.

One of the little handles on the blinds broke, so navigated to the website to find a replacement part, only to discover they don't make it easy. Not only is there no way to find replacement parts on the website, the only option is to call. Early on a saturday morning I called..and waited. it said 15 minutes, but after 45 minutes i was finally able to talk to someone. they say it is a busy season, but shouldn't staffing take that into consideration? shouldn't small fragile parts be easier to replace?
