Justice Tax LLC is a predatory company that targets people in stressful financial situations and bullies them into thinking they need to pay thousands for help they can often get for free. What they don’t tell you is that most IRS or state tax issues can be resolved by calling the agency directly—without a middleman or massive fees.

In my case, they did absolutely nothing. They sent me a corrupted contract file that I couldn’t open, then ignored my repeated requests for a working version for months—until I finally threatened legal action. Only then did I get a response. That’s not service. That’s stonewalling.

After I updated my payment method (same day), they tagged on a surprise fee with no prior explanation. When I questioned it, I received one of the most unprofessional, aggressive emails I’ve ever seen—from a man named Scott La Flam. He’s not even in customer service, yet he sent me a threatening, slanderous message full of false claims and legal intimidation simply because I left an honest review and asked for accountability.

Let’s be clear:
• They performed zero work.
• I never received or signed a valid contract.
• I cooperated fully.
• I paid promptly.
• And I have the documentation to prove it.

Now I’m taking action:
• Filing a formal BBB complaint
• Reporting to the Federal Trade Commission for deceptive practices
• Contacting my State Attorney General
• Disputing the charge through my bank
• Preparing legal action for defamation and non-performance

This is not a real solution-oriented company. It’s a pressure campaign disguised as tax help. If you’re struggling with taxes, talk to a CPA or the IRS directly before handing over a dollar to these people. You deserve real help—not threats.

We hired this company and from the beginning there were multiple issues. Initially, they confused us with another client. I discovered this when they told me our state tax forms needed to be signed and returned, then asked if we were located in a different state. We are not — we live in another state entirely.

This was just one of several instances of confusion. Communication has been extremely poor. We do not receive return calls, and despite emailing three times over the past week, we have received no response.

I regret not doing more due diligence before hiring them. They were quick to take our payment, but when we attempt to contact them with questions or concerns, they are unresponsive.

Stay away from this company and use a more reliable one.

Zero stars isn’t low enough. This “company” is a straight-up fraud factory that preys on desperation and laughs all the way to the bank.
I handed them over $5,000 to negotiate a lien reduction. Result? Not one single dollar shaved off. Instead, they slapped me with the same payment plan the creditor had already offered—before I ever contacted these leeches. That’s right: I paid five grand for a pre-existing option I could’ve clicked “accept” on myself.
Every promise they made evaporated the second the check cleared. Their “expert negotiators” are glorified phone-answerers who read from a script, lie with a smile, and ghost you the moment you ask for proof of progress. The so-called “Golden” Management team? A pack of slick-talking vultures who dodge calls, fabricate excuses, and treat clients like ATMs.
And the harassment? Relentless. They’ll spam you for 5-star Google reviews while actively screwing you over—classic gaslighting playbook.
If negative-100-star ratings existed, they’d still be too generous. Run. Do your own legwork. These parasites thrive on fear and deliver nothing but financial trauma.

I had a conversation with a gentleman at this company and everything that I said seemed to flummox him. (And I wasn't saying anything complex.) They are supposed to help with tax issues but every time I said something (and I didn't say too much) this guy kept sighing as if he was buying time to figure out what I was saying. The basic gist - like most people who contact this company - is that I need help with my taxes. I wouldn't trust the guy I spoke to as everything I said seemed to confuse him. Take your business elsewhere.

Hired them in March 2025, paid them $3900.00 and they promised to resolve our tax debt but the IRS, put a tax levy on our wages and Justice Tax is dragging their feet, they dont give you any updates on your case, when and if they send an email or call it’s something different every time. So far we’re losing $1000.00 per month trying to work with Justice Tax. Very disappointed in this company.

They were very helpful was done in a timely manner unlike the other company my husband hired before he passed away it didn't take years just mothes and no that's one less worry the whole team was super helpful though the process and kepted me updated the whole time would recommend to eney one looking for help with there tax issues.

Was told a set of services that justified spending $11,500. Once contract signed told that those services we not offered. After repeated tries to contact them filed complaint with the BBB of South Frorida. We were then contacted by Justice Tax,LLC and told that none of the items were ever said. When asked what we then paid $11,500 for they just said "what is your problem, you signed a contract". They have since cost us an additional $10,300 in IRS penalties and interest, which they were to stop, filed a form 433-D which we could have done ourselves and are holding our money unless we sign a release that sates what a great job they did. This is a scam.

Extremely poor service; proceed with caution! I reached out to Justice Tax at the end of last year following an IRS audit. Despite encountering negative reviews, I inquired about them, and their response was that they cannot satisfy everyone. I somewhat concurred with their viewpoint and decided to utilize their services. They assured me they would negotiate my IRS balance, but after months of weekly calls and receiving vague responses about waiting for my transcripts, I received another IRS letter indicating my balance had increased by an additional $3,000. After paying Justice Tax nearly $4,000, they sent me a payment arrangement letter that I could have easily arranged myself with the IRS. They failed to negotiate my balance and simply took my money without providing any substantial assistance. I attempted to contact them multiple times, but Jordan, the individual handling my case, never answered or returned my calls. Therefore, I advise you to save your time and money by steering clear of this company, as they are exceedingly dishonest.

Long story short- They initially agreed to a deal with the state for me to pay $1500 per month to the state. Keep in mind I was already in a negative cash flow situation. However, upon taking matters into my own hands, I discovered a stark contrast - I was able to negotiate a deal with the state directly at the significantly lower rate of $100 per month, exposing Justace Tax's deceitful practices.

Adding insult to injury, Justace Tax failed to fulfill their promise of representing me with the federal government, leaving me stranded and unprotected in my tax affairs. Despite repeated attempts to seek assistance, I found myself abandoned by Justace Tax, facing additional financial strain and uncertainty.

My frustration with the lackluster service provided by Justice Tax is palpable, as I want to express my deep disappointment with the company's (Justice Tax) deceptive tactics and unfulfilled commitments. Even after seeking aid from a special internal help group, Justice Tax's incompetence persisted, further tarnishing their own reputation and credibility. I sought assistance with the federal side of their tax matters, Justice Tax shamelessly attempted to renegotiate the terms of their agreement, demonstrating a callous disregard for the my financial well-being. With over $3000 already paid to the Justice Tax company, I was left feeling exploited and betrayed by Justice Tax's opportunistic behavior. In light of these alarming revelations, it is imperative to caution others against engaging in any business dealings with Justice Tax. I strongly advise against any association with this dubious entity, emphasizing the distressing experience and financial harm I have endured as a result of my interactions with Justace Tax.

I just wish I read all the survey before hiring this company to help with my tax filing. I was being proactive and called January to see if they can help me with filing my taxes for 2023. I was reassured that everything will be filed accordingly. I was connected with three different tax consultants before the end of March. By April 16, I have not heard from them and contacted their office and come for find out they requested for extension to file my taxes. I have until October to file my taxes. Paid my taxes directly to IRS in September. On November 20, 2024, I received a letter from IRS with late fee and interest accrued. After speaking to IRS representative, that charges were accrued from April 16, 2024. I attempted to speak to one of the tax consultants, I was told since my case was closed, no explanation was given unless I wanted to be reopened again but I will be charge for more fee. I reported this company to BBB. Please don't use this company. Justice Tax llc.

I initially had problems with the the first case worker.Then they transfer me to a Laura Kington .She was awesome she work with me and put at ease by informing on my situation and how we can resolve it. She is pleasure to speak with and she always reassuring. Always called me back and made sure that my case was important to her and she was working on a resolution which she did .Thank You Laura

Justice Tax is not a reliable company. I called in need of assistance and was told they will help reduce my taxes. As time kept ticking away, they sat on it for over a year with my constant calls checking on the outcome I was told that its being worked on. So, finally after over a year, they notified me that everything was ready. come to find out, because they sat on it for so long, my taxes have increased by around $3,000. after contacting them, they said they couldn't do anything but gave me a stinky 10% check of $388 for my inconveniences. Sad as that is, that was not even close enough to the 3K extra on my income tax as well as they collected almost 4K for fees.. OH Yes, they are a scam big time. NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH SUCH TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

What an absolute scam! Promising to fix tax issues and negotiate with the IRS, NOTHING but wasted time filling out and emailing and faxing documents. PLEASE don't use this company. I filled a complaint with the BBB and they believed their bull. I had issues during covid, drained my 401K to pay for childcare and got taxed for it. No one cared. I have two disabled children, and their dad has terminal cancer. I tried but couldn't catch up on payments, now they are going to garnish my wages. Thanks Justice Tax NOT.
