Ordered a screen panel for a T480 model…
Ordered a screen panel for a T480 model N140HCG-GQ2 for 60€ with 10€ shipping and 3€ support brackets. Received a lower quality panel (300nits vs 400nits and higher power usage and worst colours), EID firmware didn't match the panel either so now i dont really know what panel i ordered, they offered me 30€ refund and because i tested the panel i can't sent it back per their support. Also bought a 14" bracket that didn't have the advised double sided tape per their products. They also said that the GQ2 is not in stock but it's kept showing in stock in the product page.
Edit to respond to their claims :
The seller's public response does not fully reflect our email exchange.
They initially confirmed to me by email that the wrong panel had been sent because their supplier's latest batch contained an error which they failed to detect. This was therefore presented to me as a shipping/supplier error, not as an intentional substitution with a compatible panel.
The panel ordered was specifically listed and invoiced as an Innolux N140HCG-GQ2 Rev. C1, 400 nits, 72% NTSC. The panel received is physically labelled BOE NV140FHM-N61 V8.0, and its electronic EDID identifies itself as yet another model, an AU Optronics B140HAN03.L.
The seller also told me privately that no return would be accepted once the panel had been installed/tested. In their Trustpilot response, however, they now state that they would accept the return even after installation, which I appreciate.
Finally, the matter had not been “resolved to my satisfaction” when this review was posted. We were still discussing the issue and the identification inconsistency of the supplied panel.
I acknowledge that they offered either a €30 refund or a return at their expense, but I think these details are important context for anyone ordering a specific panel reference from this store.
