My young nephew went to work for th8s company. Was doing so well they let him drive the company van to deliver carpets by himself after half a days training. Worked him 6 days a week and made him work 3 late nights each week, totally against his contract but anyway. He NEVER got a break to eat or get a drink because they sent him out by himself whilst the manager and assistant manager sat with their feet up on their phones doing nothing. Check the cameras. He ended up scratching a vehicle after he called his boss to let him know he couldn't get through a road as it was tight.....told to figure it out! So absolutely zero training or breaks which breaks every employment law there is. His mother had to call to make sure he got a break and when he went back after his day off they fired him! Apparently for scratching the said van 2 weeks ago. No warnings....no invitation to disciplinary. No evidence or investigation done. I am absolutely outraged that any company in this day and age believe they are above following employment laws that the rest of us have to follow. Let's see how this works out for you. Oh and NEVER paid him his notice money or late nights!

Great choice and value at J&W Carpets. We visited the Hillhouse Road Hamilton store today for a carpet for our hallway. The staff were very helpful. We would recommend this store/company to anyone looking for a
new carpet whatever your budget.
