Me and my husband went out camping with Karoo 360 (Dawid and Jeffrey). It was an amazing experience and everything was so well organized! They had thought of every detail. We had comfortabele stretcher beds, a proper toilet and even a hot shower in the morning! Food was amazing too. And Dawid and Jeffrey are good company, they make you feel very comfortable and safe.

We had such an epic experience in the Sneeuberg Nature Reserve. Steffan was a great guide! Everything was super well organised. A truly unforgettable experience with our friends!

Probably one of the most memorable experiences of our lives! To be able to be reminded of the beauty of our own country was very special. The hike, views, hosts, guide ( Thanks Steffan), FOOD, everything was planned well and we really enjoyed ourselves!

What an incredible experience! If you’re looking for an authentic Karoo experience - this is it. Dawid organised an exceptional holiday for our family of four. Lamb potjie, camping on the banks of the Sundays river, historic tour of the town and a day trip to Nieu Bethesda. 5 stars all the way!

This was “only” a 4 hours drive. With so much information, nothing dramatic, but we think we got quite an insight into area, nature and people living in Graaff-Reinet. We enjoyed our hours in the Camdeboo NP with Steffan very much

We recently held our work conference in Graaff-Reinet, and one of our activities was hosted by Karoo360. They planned a tailored tour for our group that helped us get to know the town better, taking us to insightful and historical spots around Graaff-Reinet. The experience was packed with interesting information, great energy, and memorable moments.

Dawid and his team put a lot of time and effort into making the tour enjoyable for everyone. We visited various museums, learned about the town’s rich history, and even enjoyed an Afrikanis rum tasting — a definite highlight!

We highly recommend this tour for anyone travelling to Graaff-Reinet who wants to explore and understand the town on a deeper level. We would also strongly recommend Karoo360, Dawid, and his team specifically. This was not our first event with them, and it certainly won’t be our last. Their professionalism, passion, and personal touch keep us coming back.

Thanks to Karoo360 for organising a great 3 days of hiking and relaxation in the Sneeuberg Reserve. Our guide (Stefan) was attentive, informative and interesting to speak with. We really enjoyed our trip to a part of the Karoo we’d not been to before.

We did the 3 peaks challenge with Dawid and absolutely had a fantastic time. Dawid is an awesome, knowledgeable mountain guide who goes way above and beyond to make the experience way better than expected. The hospitality and catering was also 5-star. Huge kudos and thanks to all at Karoo 360 for making our trip so memorable.

This was my second climb with Dawid de Wet of Karoo360 and the experience again exceeded expectations. All arrangements went like clockwork and attention to detail was very evident. Every part of the experience - accommodation, meals, transport, hiking and climbing routes - was carefully thought out. I'll return for more adventures.

I was looking for someone to organise a complete package of eMountain-biking for four days in Graaff Reinet area for my wife and I (late sixties age). W were ebike novices. I found Toerboer (Dawid de Wet) on the web, and from first contact he took care of everything seamlessly and personally. This included accommodation (excellent), ebike hire and transport from PE, two guided rides in Camdeboo Nat Park, and restaurant suggestions etc. Dawid was delightful, inspired confidence on the bikes, provided good value costings and took care of all the annoying little things.

Via onze reisagent hadden we een verblijf van 2 dagen in Graaf-Reinet. Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk ontvangen door Dawid en nadat we 45 minuten op onze prachtige kamers voor onszelf hebben gehad, zijn we met onze overnachtingspullen vertrokken.
We hebben met de auto van Dawid een prachtige tocht door Camdeboo park gemaakt, vele dieren gezien en prachtige uitzichten. Met een gezellige tussenstop met hapjes en drankjes. Compleet met enthousiaste uitleg van Dawid.
Daarna zijn we doorgereden naar een privé terrein van 1 van de boeren. Na ongeveer 15 minuten rijden op dit terrein kwamen we bij onze overnachtingsplek aan, slapen onder de sterren. Aan alles was gedacht (extra dikke slaapzakken) even niet bereikbaar, heerlijk…. Avondeten (braai) was top en een goed kampvuur.
De volgende ochtend daar ontbeten en zijn vervolgens teruggereden naar de accommodatie waar we de 2e nacht hebben doorgebracht. Heerlijk gedoucht en vervolgens een tour de stad. De middag was voor ons zelf en in de avond nog heerlijke gegeten bij Hello you met een rumproeverij.
Alles wat goed geregeld, fijne gastheer en slapen onder de sterren was een onvergetelijke ervaring.

We did the 2-night adventure with Karoo 360 and we absolutely loved it. Dawid is a very friendly and reliable host. His communication with us was very good and he was always on time. We had a great night in the wild, nice food prepared on the fire and comfortable beds in the tent. Great breakfast! The city tour through Graaff-Reinet was very interesting. Dawid knows what he is talking about! Our night in the Hartland House was comfortable and quiet. Just what we were looking for. We can recommend this adventure highly!

I had a wonderful experience with Dawid who guided me and Leon to the summit of Compassberg behind Nieu Bethesda. Dawid was a kind and patient guide who was mindful of the fact that I'm over 70 and required a slow and steady pace with rests en route to the summit. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in exploring the area.

Dawit was a knowledgeable, passionate guide whose inspirational commentary made for a really enjoyable tour. Highly recommended.

Climbing Adventure in the Great Karoo :
We successfully climbed Kompass Berg ;highest freestanding mountain in South Africa (2503m) outside the Drakenberg Massif and Stormberg mountain ranges ; Dawid de Wet arranged our adventure and guided us to the top of Kompass Berg and back ; Kompass Berg is situated in the Camdeboo district (Graaff Reinet in the Great Karoo) ,what a special days hiking ,stunning views ,flora and funa ,wildlife in abundance,proffesional guiding and good company ,we were also treated to Dawid’s artisan crafted Afrikanis premium Rum ; sipping his rum and staring up at Kompass Berg and the big blue sky country ….beauty at its max! An exhilarating experience and highly recommended if you love the great outdoors and trekking is one of your passions !

I can't recommend Dawid from Karoo 360 more highly. My husband and two daughters have just spent three days with Dawid on a personalised tour of the Great Karoo. We met in Graaf Reinet and travelled into the stunning landscape of open plains and imposing mountains. We camped by Gatz river and enjoyed an excellent braai cooked over the open fire. The next day involved a hike followed by a refreshing swim in the river. We then travelled through Nieu Bethesda and enjoyed a tasting experience sampling Karoo delicacies, locally sourced. We spent the night at a nature reserve in a beautifully renovated farm house. The next morning we hiked again and were able to spot lots of local and indigenous wildlife. After another incredible lunch, this time back in Graaf Reinet we spent our third night in The Cottage, an airbnb which Dawid owns. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the Karoo captured our hearts and souls. We were offered a tiny glimpse and will definitely come back for more. This couldn't have been achieved without Dawid. He took us to spots I'm sure nobody else knows about. For this we are grateful. Dawid is very knowledgeable about local history, the fauna and flora and he's a calming, capable guide. His unflappable nature put us all at ease. We feel lucky to have met him. If you are after something special, something authentic, something real, then don't hesitate to see this part of the world with Karoo 360.

A big Thank You to Dawid from Karoo 360 for guiding us, 12 MTB riders on a 3-day trip through the Camdeboo National Park, around Nieu Bethesda and to the East of Graaff Reinet along the Sundays River. Dawid knows the area inside out and added valuable information about the region, the farms‘ history and geology during the rides. I can highly recommend him and Karoo 360 for any activities in and around beautiful Graaff Reinet.

Extremely informative and authentic Karoo experience. Dawid’s knowledge and passion for the region is palpable. I have been on several slackpacking trips and none have felt as personal, we had an epic little squad that made saying goodbye a sad affair! All of the accommodation and food was top notch. Three different challenges on each day, with three different hikes of varying difficulty and terrain. An absolute must for anyone interested in learning more about the region and witnessing the beauty the Karoo has to offer!

The whole booking, arriving, hike on the 3 Peak Challenge was phenomenal. Got to experience Karoo hospitality, local cuisine, knowledgeable guide, incredible host and people & people and fantastic accommodation. Loved every moment of the weekend and is one of my favourite experiences.
