I cannot recommend highly enough- I have had a heat pump system and solar panels fitted and from the start the service from Cahill has been fantastic. Richard and especially Cyn has been professional, polite and helpful providing a fabulous service. Cyn has spent 3 full days in my house working hard in the heat and cleaning up as he went along. Both Richard & Cyn were happy to explain as they went along and answering any questions (there were many) I had.
I would also like to mention Stephanie who went above and beyond to get everything sorted out for me and was understanding and professional.

Approached Cahill following a really positive review from a colleague and they more than lived up to the recommendation. Really clear (and patient) explanation of options for AirSource Heat Pump, Solar Panels and Battery across different manufacturers and price points. Thorough pre-installation surveys and consultation on what we wanted to go where. Friendly and professional installation teams who turned up on time and were always happy to field questions. Friendly, prompt and helpful customer service prior to, during and after installation. Definitely recommend.

I used Cahill on our previous home for solar panels - the service was so good I wanted to use them again . We aren’t local to them - but this wasn’t a problem - from start to finish the process has been amazing. Great service - always prompt to respond - friendly team - the fitters were very professional and amazing ( and it was 35c ) but they worked so hard to complete the job - so pleased with the solar panels and pleased we decided to have 2 batteries - the app is easy to follow ! I can highly recommend Cahill !

We’ve now had our solar panels and batteries for over 3 years, so I now feel that I can give a good review of the overall service provided by Cahill renewables.
Sales- initially very helpful, loads of info but when it came to ordering, suddenly lots of extra costs that hadn’t been pointed out during the sales pitch.
Installation- all installed quickly and tidily but needed several return trips due to loose connections ( the returning engineer stating ‘I wish he’d wear his glasses!’ , with reference to the installing engineer) .
I cannot fault the kit. It’s working efficiently and I’m really happy with it. The app for solax is not wonderful but not anything that Cahill’s can control.
After sales customer service- initially fantastic. Engineers sent out quickly and any issues resolved quickly. But the in the last year no response AT ALL to contact emails. It don’t make me worry about the long term warranty, should something crucial need attention.
Such a shame as I was initially so impressed with this company.

It started well, lots of communication, all very positive. Then they simply stopped communicating. After 3 weeks we chased, repeatedly, first by email, and then phone calls. On the phone the team apologised profusely and promised twice we’d hear from them by the end of the day. Nothing. If you do try them I wouldn’t waste too much of your time waiting around.

I randomly called Cahil Renewables after my mum was quoted a large cost by another company for some new solar equipment. As a family we wanted to check if the equipment was needed and the costs quoted.
Cahill Renewables was really helpful and supportive in answering our questions and assuring us that the other company was potentially scamming my mum.
Josh and his colleagues were very open and honest in their opinions, we are very grateful. We will certainly go back to Cahil Renewables in the future.

Untrustworthy and unreliable. The sales department keep giving empty promise. They verbally said one thing and made you feel you can trust them and move forward. When you go to the next step, they changed what they agreed to provide last minute. This has happened 2 - 3 times. When I challenged them why they keep changing their terms, they just brushed it off and just said there has been miscommunication. I can accept it once, but not 2- 3 times.

Frankie and apprentice Dan arrived to install a whole heating system & install a large heating cylinder to the loft. From start to finish we can't praise these guys enough there work was excellent. they kept us updated,they were both considerate &polite. Would highly recommend

First of all the sales team were great. The surveyor (forgot to catch his name) was very helpful without being pushy and gave me lots of good info. Morgon in the office was also really helpful again, without being too pushy.
Had my solar system Installed 12 Dec. Installers turned up at 8, as agreed, and all completed in 1 day which I was surprised at considering this time of year it gets dark at 4. But no, they were still here at 5 working with head torches getting it done. I'm a contractor myself and I've seen some short cuts some make but none of that. Very professional instal and no mess left behind. They even stacked and left behind the roof tiles they had to remove. Very handy if I ever need to replace any. Overall can't fault them. Just trying to get the scaffolders to come and dismantle and get their kit and not use my house as storage is an industry wide problem I've found :)

A trustworthy company. They finished the work with great effect. Darren Manager is very helpful. Thanks to him, the work will do very well.

I chose Cahill Renewables to install my solar panels and battery in May '25. All of their team were friendly and helpful without being pushy. Their price was competitive with no unnecessary extras. They kept me informed throughout the installation, which was completed on time with the minimum of fuss. Documentation was provided quickly. Post installation issues were resolved quickly and the panels are working well. I am very pleased with how it went and would chose them again.

Having been let down by a previous installer, I found Cahill Renewables & spoke to Josh. He couldn't have been more helpful, and expedited the fitment of our solar panels which helped enormously as building works were being held up. The teams who fitted the panels and the subsequent electrics were both great, came when they said they would and were a pleasure to have here. Highly recommended!

I personally have found Cahill to be extremely professional all all stages of the process plus post installation. Their prices are reasonable but you are dealing with an established company with a proven track record.
In point of fact I am so happy with the company that this is my their installation with them.

We had solar panels and batteries supplied and fitted by Cahill. It was a real pleasure dealing with this company. They were professional and friendly from start to finish. Josh in particular was very helpful and always in hand with any queries. Everyone who was involved did a fantastic job and I would definitely recommend them. In fact my daughter has since had panels etc installed and is very happy.

We used Cahill for the removal of our old gas boiler and installation of new air source heat pump. Sales rep Bowen was polite, helpful and professional throughout all our conversations whilst sorting out the quote, on-site engineer Frank was similarly professional while he was at our address. Excellent service from start to finish, no regrets whatsoever about choosing Cahill, highly recommend.

From start to finish Cahill Renewables have been honest, prompt, fair and a delight to deal with, concerning my solar and battery Install. Simon was fantastic running the job even coming to fix a minor issue himself after hours. Nicola again amazing in the office. Would highly recommend and very reasonably priced compared with others.

I had 7 quotes ranging from £8k-£13k and 3 companies inc Cahills came round. From initial phone call until I went with Cahill there were no pressure phone calls from them that there were from the other 6 companies. Any questions I phoned with, they answered the phone within seconds likewise emails returned promptly. Josh, joe & Kieran were very friendly, patient and explained technical stuff in a way I could understand. They made their options & recommendations and explained any pros & amp; cons of my queries. They were the 2nd cheapest price. Apart from the £13k quote they were providing better/newer quality kit. They were also including 5 to 7 more panels than any of the other companies. Roofers fitted panels and Jermain the electrician was so knowledgeable and efficient starting at 9.30 and leaving at 4.45 after explaining all the kit and the app. After sales has been great with joe & Josh giving all the time needed to help with all my questions. The panels look great, batteries, inverter and new fuse board that was needed at no extra cost are all very neat. I can’t recommend Cahill renewables and its staff highly enough. They are a good, honest, reliable company which is rare to find these days. Thank you

Just had Cahill Renewables fit my solar panels and batteries.
Excellent service from my initial enquiry to final payment. The estimate was very clear and contained a detailed list of components as well as the system performance.I knew that as Cahill are electricians they knew their stuff and trusted that all would go well. The surveyor arrived on time, the scaffolding arrived on time, the roofer and electricians arrived when agreed and did the job in a day. The office have provided all the accreditation for my energy supplier to pay for the spare generated power.
What's not to like?

Choosing a solar system is very daughting and there is so much to find out. After speaking and getting quotes from other companies I then phoned Cahill Renewables. I spoke with a very helpful friendly man called Joshua Ells. We spoke at great lengths designing a system which will work for me. Josh was very patient and not a pushy sales person. I had experienced many of them from other companies.
I liked Cahill Renewables friendly approach and was very impressed with their family business and how every client is valued to them. Cahill Renewables have been in the solar trade for over 12 years and have the knowledge and trusted experience. You will not be dealing with a company that is here today and gone tomorrow, they are well established and respected in the solar energy trade.
The system that I went for was a 6.4 KW along with a 10 KW storage battery. I must say the results have been outstanding so far and I am even able to charge up my electric car on full solar energy.
I am so pleased that I chose this company and its been a pleasure doing bussiness with them.
Josh guided me through every step of the way, from the initial design,the site survey, the scaffolding team right through to the installation date.
Cahill Renewables will not try and rip you off with over inflated prices. Their quote was extremely resonable compared to other companies.
They are based in Essex but they cover the majority of the country, so please don't be put off if you live far away as I live in Lincolnshire.
Installing solar is a big investment and from my own personal experience I would highly recommend this company.
I would just like to finish by saying a big Thank You to Josh and all his colleagues at Cahill Renewables for all their dedicated help and advice throughout this project.

Our 6kW solar pv and battery system was installed by Cahill Renewables on 8th June 2023. Before deciding on Cahill, we sought many more than the recommended three quotes and by the time I spoke to Office Manager Joe I was getting thoroughly confused by the variations in proposed designs, components and costs. Joe’s patient explanations gave us confidence to choose theirs over similarly priced quotes, plus we wanted a local company that specialised in all renewables, not just installing solar panels. Once the installation was done, on the promised date, they immediately provided the necessary MCS certificate and DNO approval letter so we could export energy to the grid. In the first four weeks of operation, solar and battery power provided almost all our needs and we exported over 1 megawatt. Such is our confidence in Cahill Renewables that both our immediate neighbours are having their installations this week.
