Frustrating. Hopefully not typical
I currently have an application in progress looking to borrow £26k against an £800k property value. Every few days there’s a request for more information. The frustrating thing is they are questions relating to bank statements and instead of asking them in one go, a few get asked, I respond the same or next day but then it’s another 2 or 3 days before I then get a other request. I get the feeling they’ve either ran out of money to lend and are stalling or are just trying to find the right question to ask where they dislike the answer enough to decline it. Frustrating.

Submitted my first case on 27/07 and it offered on 03/08 (include a free val). Excellent broker portal. Easy as pie! Faster than many of my bridging lenders. Great rate too (5.14% 5 year fixed).
