Kerala Taste Avis 37

Extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Kerala Taste. I placed an order (KT45723), but half of my items were missing upon delivery. When I contacted them, the merchant claimed the order was split into two boxes but failed to provide any tracking or proof of delivery for the second parcel.

To make matters worse, one of the items I actually received was nearly two years past its expiry date (Sept 2024). This is a serious quality control and food safety issue.

After multiple follow-up emails and setting a reasonable deadline for a resolution, the company only issued a partial refund for the expired item and ignored the request for the missing box entirely. I eventually had to resolve the matter through a bank chargeback to get my money back.

I have ordered before without issues, but based on this experience and seeing similar "missing box" complaints from other customers recently, I will not be shopping here again. Please check recent reviews before you buy.

I have ordered several times but this time I didn't get the order, I tried to reach them not reachable online... very bad service utterly confused and my money is lost...I will never order again

Paid for and ordered Onam prepacked box for 7 people which was then out of stock, accepted offer of 5 person box. Was sent confirmation from the team of delivery next day, and did not receive delivery even after their mistake. Not received my food and zero communication from Kerala Taste since, with no offer of full refund. Do not use this online store unless you happy to be robbed. Absolute crooks!! I am very dissatisfied and demand a refund.

Viswas Brown Iddiappam Frozen
I bought 3 packs of Iddiappam last week
that were extremely salty and not fit for consumption.
Please avoid buying them.

I'm not sure why they have bad reviews. Honestly this review is based on my recent experience and they've been nothing but really good from ordering to delivery. In comparison to other similar websites they have a wider range of items and the prices are cheaper too in comparison. They delivered my order within 2 days despite being busy Christmas period. They didn't have two items in stock but were automatically refunded promptly without raising a refund request.

Why does Kerala taste not list ingredients for the products? We bought a jackfruit cake and it tasted so horrible and I checked ingredients only to find that there is absolutely no jackfruit in the jackfruit cake. Not even a tiny bit. Just wheat flour, sugar, oils and a whole load of chemicals. And I paid nearly £10 for it…

I would give this a negative star, if I could. Such bad delivery service, bad customer service, dishonesty above all. In one word utterly disappointing. Would never use it again even by mistake.

I have ordered sardine pickle and chicken masala, instead I received the delivery of anchovies pickle and fish masala which I don’t require. It’s very hard to get in touch with customer service. I am not satisfied of the product delivery. Well packaged and delivered, but it’s not useful if you don’t receive what you have ordered.

never order anything from Kerala Taste, 80% product are Rubish, i will pass this message on FB ,instagram and youtube. they never answer customer service phone. Most products are out of date and they change the label, 6 of us has to go to hospital because of food poison, i have informed consumer protection with doctor's certifficate. we already had Corona virus , we dont want more human killers.I have unopened product i want to send to the lab.

Took take away chicken dum biryani as visiting Croydon , provided fresh rice but chicken was stale and smelly , this is really cheating from my point of view as cannot taste chicken when taking home

all the pickles, banana chips,jackfruit chips and sadhya products and frozen sweets are all authentic keralian taste! in uk unbelievable quality and packaging and delivery method used by kerala taste is perfect and will be purchasing from them again!

Good selection of products and next day delivery.

Near to expiry date packaged products. Most of the bakery items are rancid and horrible. I ordered premium matta rice and received an inferior brand. No response from the sellers.
Update: got refund after many attempts.

Order submitted for next day delivery. Credit card debited. Did not receive the order and heard nothing. Made several unsuccessful attempts to contact them and eventually received a refund. I wish that I had checked Trustpilot first where I would have discovered that 50% gave a one star review. Very disappointed since I particularly like curry inspired by Kerala.

Ordered Onam Sadya..the parcel came on 8th afternoon instead of 7th as mentioned while ordering. Packing was not done properly. The rasam was all over the place. We had ordered food last year and it was so much more tastier. This year's food was not upto the mark.
