Keto Mojo Avis 20

In 2021, I bought my ketone meter on the official website, and I've been using it regularly since then. On some occasions, I've had problems with the glucose strips, which would give me an error and I'd have to discard them, but overall I was reasonably happy. However, after a battery change, the meter has completely gone out of calibration.
Since I have my glucose levels very controlled, and I also wear a continuous glucose monitor, I know exactly what values I should be getting and they don't match the results from the Keto Mojo meter at all. I used the control solutions I had to check if it was calibrated or not, and although they were expired, the result was as expected: the meter was completely out of calibration for glucose. For ketones, it was right on the limit.
I wrote to customer service and they told me I have to buy new control solutions and also pay for shipping. So I decided to buy a new meter, which also comes with the test solutions. I ran the test again with the newly acquired and opened test solutions, comparing the real measurement results on both monitors—the new and the old—and also comparing them with the continuous glucose monitor I wear. The result in all cases was the same: the old glucose meter is out of calibration.
I sent photos of all the tests to Keto Mojo. They replied saying it could be due to samples being taken at different times, or whether alcohol was used or not... I insisted: all measurements were taken from the same finger, at the same time, with blood from the same prick. I told them to stop making excuses and to honor their word that the meter has a lifetime warranty. They never replied again, and of course, they haven't solved the problem.
The worst part is that if I hadn't been wearing a CGM, I would never have known that my monitor was miscalibrated, and that would have caused me serious harm because I would have been trusting erroneous readings. They not only need to improve their terrible customer service, but also their product, since it is unreliable—because when it becomes uncalibrated, it gives no indication, and you can continue using it thinking it's giving accurate results.

Significantly different reading compared to my other glucometers.....

I have been using Keto Mojo since 2019. I now have a bunch of test strips which work less than half the time. I gave them the lot number and expiration date. They wanted a ton of info, including a video of them not working! I even bought another test monitor to make sure that wasn't the problem. I am done with them. They are overpriced, especially since I don't need the glucose test strips you have to buy also the get the Keto ones. Going elsewhere or doing without. They have made a fortune off me.

Bought around 2 years ago also, has worked well as and when I have used it. Sometimes for 2 weeks consistently then several months of leaving it alone. Used recently on an extended water fast, was reading glucose fine I think, but ketones was reading very low. It ended with me being in hospital with Ketoacidosis, unfortunately it was reading my ketones very wrong (low). Wrote to customer service to raise issue and get machine fixed or replaced. But unfortunately they are ignoring my email/reminder. Deleted my forwarded original email with full details requested and closed my ticket. Have since ignored my new ticket. Works well, when works, but don't count on any resolution if it goes wrong.

They are not honoring the lifetime warranty. No response to 5-6 emails and voice mail messages with all the proper backup info. I bought keto-mojo gk+ 2 yr ago but haven't used for 6 mo. Reading is half what it should be, leading me to go the the ER where I found my glucose was fine. It worked okay for about a year for both glucose and keto. Also, warranty limitations say you have to register (painfully difficult) the device within 30 days of purchase. Buy at your own risk.

As others mentioned they sending old test strips that expire very soon. In my case ordered glu and keto strips 60 pack which has expiry date of 11-2025.
They were much better in the beginning and were sending strips that were valid for at least 6 months. Also it seems latest strips are not as accurate anymore which is also reflected by other reviewers.
And in addition, customer support also degraded significantly.
Looks like it is time to switch to something else.

After ordering the the keto mojo and additional strips, I got strips which already expires in three months. For the way I use the device this is way too soon. After writing the ¨customer¨ service they write:

¨Keto-Mojo testing strips for the GK+ and GKI meter expire anywhere from 3-12 months depending on inventory rotation¨

So they clean up there old inventory and send them to paying clients.

Better buy other device

2 weeks and I still haven't received my order.

Really bad customer service.

Huge discrepancy on this meter to the precision neo. The strips with the control level 2 solution has an 3mmol window which is huge. Don't bother getting it

They have transformed my keto journey! Their products are high-quality, and I've noticed improved energy and focus. Highly recommend!

Works only some of the time so I’m wasting so many test strips that aren’t cheap. Company won’t take responsibility. Don’t buy. Keto mojo is overpriced and doesn’t even work properly.

My meter doesn’t properly even save the before or after meal tags because the before meal tag is missing and it won’t save a tag that I create. I have to go into each result in the app and independently add a tag. Is my meter faulty? They don’t care. They never offered a new meter. They just stopped emailing me altogether, to forget about my issue. They keep saying the same things. I keep replying the same information.

Insanely expensive

Firstly, the brand should ask which strips are needed. Only giving 10 strips and then charging 50 euros for 60 is insane. Can’t sent it back because it’s already been opened.

To be fair the previous meter seemed to work fine, but they “blocked” that one and forced an upgrade. Unfortunately despite having to pay a significant amount for the required new strips the upgrade still hasn’t arrived and the response so far from support has been dismal. I’m going to ask for a full refund unless they respond positively very soon.

60 strips kit arrived with a rather short expiry date of few months. I won't be able to use them before some of them expire. I requested a return or partial refund. The company (customer service rep Tomasz) choose not to solve this, said it is normal to have 3 months expiry. I will not waste effort and just switch to another monitor to not give them business any more. Plenty of competition on a market. They also add a 2nd VAT on top of the advertised price which is supposed to include VAT in EU. Disappointing company not fit for EU market. Adiós

The meter slowdown 3-4 Minutes to transfer data from ketomojo to phone after the increase of measure made it. Totally inacurates Dont buy it!

Poor customer service. If your meter reads the test solution inaccurately, the company will get you to perform further tests using your own strips. After an average is taken, and the meter falls within the test range (albeit right at the top end), Keto-Mojo will only offer you a gift card against future purchases; they will not send you any replacement strips or offer a partial refund. So if the service is bad and you don't want to use the company again...you get no recompense. Even when you involve the company founder, he will only send you an off-topic rambling video message, talking about gift certificates...

I have purchased 2 KETO-MOJO meters and a Blue Tooth Connector accessory with the promise of "LIFETIME" Guarantee. Yet, the company breached the LIFE TIME warranty promise by discontinuing the meter and test strips the meter become useless. I demand a refund of the cost paid to purchase the 2 meters and Blue Tooth Connector.

Great service. Equipment has obviously been made to a very high standard.
